She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Elvis J. Brewer; infant daughter, Geneva Brewer; son, Kenneth R. Brewer; parents, John and Lilly Courtney; brother, John Elmer Courtney; grandson, James Curtis Harville; great-granddaughters, Kassi Harville and Tonya Brewer.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Bill Franklin, Ina and Mack Reeves and Vada and Loran Willis, all of Rogersville; Dorothy and Kenneth Kenner of Sevierville; daughter-in-law, Odell Brewer of Rogersville; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Hal H. Crumley, 90, Gray, Tenn.
GRAY - Hal H. Crumley, 90, Gray, departed this life at Indian Path Medical Center on Friday, (April 21, 2006) after a brief illness.
A retired police officer, he was one of the first motorcycle officers in Kingsport. He later retired from the Washington County Sheriffs Department. Mr. Crumley was a member of the Kingsport chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Tennessee Law Enforcement Officers Association.
His parents, Milton J. Crumley and Mary Smoke Crumley; one grandson, Randall Crumley, three sisters; and one brother preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife Blossom M. Crumley of the home; one daughter, Jasmine C. Treadway of Limestone, Tenn.; two sons, Jere H. Crumley and wife Debra of Macon, Ga., and Ricky Burchfield of Gray; three grandchildren, Jennifer Arnott and Hal Adair, both of Limestone, Tenn., Krisana Collins and husband Randy of Macon, Ga.; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan, Amanda, and Chelsea; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home.

KINGSPORT - Gladys Overby Forsha, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday (April 15, 2006) after a brief illness.
Gladys was born in Bon Aqua, Tenn. on Dec. 4, 1919. She married
a career soldier in 1944 and lived throughout the U.S. and abroad during 22 years of military service. Upon her husband's retirement from the Army, they became long-term residents of Kingsport, and she worked as a medical secretary for several physicians. She was a talented quilt maker and also raised and showed award-winning Himalayan cats with her husband. Gladys and Ken returned to Kingsport in 2004 due to health reasons after living in Fort Myers, Fla. for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Major Kenneth D. Forsha.
Surviving include two daughters and their husbands, Rita and W. Lynn Perry of Kingsport and Linda and Michael McIntyre of Ringgold, Ga.; two sons, Kenneth D. Forsha, II of Bristol and Jerry D. Forsha of Ft. Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren, Melissa McIntyre, Melanie Kuykendall, Michelle McIntyre and her husband Andrew Farmer, Patrick McIntyre and Kristopher Forsha; and two great-grandchildren, Jamie and Brittany Kuykendall.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Hugh Thompson officiating.

CLINCHPORT, Va. - Mrs. Myrtle Elizabeth Carter Hass, 83, Clinchport, Va., entered into rest Saturday (April 22, 2006) at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield, Va.
Mrs. Hass was born in Scott County, Va. on May 24, 1922, a daughter of the late William Charlie and Martha Ellen Fields Carter.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Charlie Clifton Hass; twin infant great grandsons, Cody and Joshua Duncan; a sister, Ruth Darnell; and a brother, James Carter.

BRISTOL, Tenn. - Daniel H. O'Dell Jr., 70, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away Friday (April 21, 2006).
He was born June 23, 1935 in Bristol, Tenn., a son of the late Dr. Daniel Herman and Lois Morton O'Dell, and has lived all of his life in the East Tennessee area. He was a teacher at Dobyns-Bennett High School for 29 years.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Breazeale.
He is survived by his daughters, Dianne Chinery and husband Jeff, Donna Berns and husband Sean; their mother, Phyllis O'Dell; six grandchildren, Cody, Claire, Ella Grace, Ethan, Daniel, and Noble; sister, Leah Ehlers and husband Leroy; brothers, Allen O'Dell and wife Jean, Sam O'Dell and wife Nancy; four aunts; several nieces and nephews.

STONEGA, Va. - Myrtle Cosby Richardson, 91, passed away on Friday (April 21, 2006) at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Big Stone Gap, Va.
She was raised in Stonega, Va., lived in West Virginia most of her life and had returned to Stonega 24 years ago. She was a homemaker and of Holiness faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Richardson; her daughter, Sylvia Faye Richardson; several sisters; and one brother.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Sandra Gareffa of Appalachia, Va.Friends may call at 12 noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Holding Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap, Va.

MOBILE, Ala. - John R. "Randy" Richmond, 58, a native of Kingsport and a longtime resident of Mobile, Ala., died at his home in Mobile on April 17, 2006.
Randy was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran and an employee of Securitas Security Systems.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret G. Richmond; and sister-in-law, Leslie H. Richmond.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Brown Richmond of Mobile; his father, Thomas Ray Richmond, Sr. of Mount Carmel; brothers, Thomas R. (Mary) Richmond, Jr. of Charleston, W.Va., Samuel J. Richmond of Kingsport and Frank Toby (Vickie) Richmond of Bluff City; sister, Thyra Anna Richmond (Fred) Bowlin of Mount Carmel; sister-in-law, Judith B. Kling; brother-in-law, Frank E.
