She was a dedicated paralegal, working in several law firms, most recently with Rowland & Rowland, P.C. in Knoxville. Catherine served in the United States Army from 1981 to 1983 and reached the rank of Specialist Fourth Class as a Legal Clerk in the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX. Catherine and her husband, Eddie, were married during their time in El Paso, where he was a Communications Technician in the Air Cavalry. Husband: Ernest E. Glenn was the youngest son of Jefferson and Mala Wiseley and was preceded in death by sister Bessie Selsor and three brothers, Arthur, Ray and Charles. Glenn attended Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He served 2? years in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Adams, Marcella, age 90, of Knoxville, died Monday, October 4, 1999 at the Hillcrest West Medical Nursing Institute. She was a faithful member until her illness of South Knoxville Baptist Church and a devout Christian from the age of eight. She will be remembered by her thoughtful and loyal service to the Knox County Association of Baptist from 1946 to 1973. She was the educational secretary; office administrator; financial secretary and she worked untiringly and in an inspirational way with youth. She was known for years as "The Training Union Leader". She provided leadership in Sunday School, W.M.U. and was instrumental in setting up training courses in all educational work of the association. After retirement in 1973 she continued to serve as the Ridgecrest Office Secretary and as Vacation Bible School Director in the Association until 1983. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Lillie Adams; brothers, Rudolph and wife, Lois Adams; Hoyle Adams; sisters, Viona Shell and husband Bruce Shell; Lucille Gant; Geraldine Cantrell; Madeline Allen.
