He was born in White Pine, Jefferson County in 1906 of parents, George Marion and Latisha Noonkesser Strange. He lived most of his life in Knox County and worked as a dairy farmer. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lexie Adkins Strange and three children, Betty Jo, Lonnie Dean and Daniel Brisco "Bud" Strange, also preceded in death by three grandchildren, "Scotty", "Marcus" and "Melody". Wife: Ruby Young Strange Funeral services 8 PM Thursday at Berry Chapel. Rev. Jones will officiate. Interment 11:00 AM Friday at Grahams Chapel Cemetery, White Pine. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
