CONNER, LYNN "BUCK" GRANVILLE - age 73, passed away at home on March 13, 1999. Preceded in death by: parents, G.J. and Rena Conner; and sister, Beulah Redwine. Retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad with 38 years service. Member of Inskip Baptist Church, where he was a faithful choir member, assistant treasurer and former trustee. wife of 53 years, Doris; daughters and sons-in-law, Patti and Pete Jones, Lee Ann and George Katz; grandchildren, Hillary and Corey Jones, Miranda and Morgan Gregory; brother, Sam Conner; sisters, Rubye Tonkin and Marie Kerley; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, Rev. Mike Segers officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers: nephews, Bill and Bob Tonkin, David, Doug and Jeff Kerley; and special friends, George Booker, Bud Phillips and Bill Wiser. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men's Sunday school class of Inskip Baptist Church. Special thanks to St. Mary's Hospice. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Drive.

Walter Scott Baldwin

Baldwin, Walter Scott, age 77, died Saturday morning, March 13, 1999 at UT Hospital from heart complications. He was a member and Deacon of South Knoxville Baptist Church with special interest in the music programs. Scott retired from Candoro Marble Company. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army Air Corps in England and France. He was preceded in death by son, Rick Baldwin and infant son, Michael Scott Baldwin; brother, Troy Baldwin and parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Baldwin. Scott is survived by his wife Barbara Berry Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Dale and Ted Sherrod of Birmingham, AL; additional relatives include Ben and Renee' Baldwin, Rena and Paul Gilbert, Welborne and Jean Baldwin, Gladys Baldwin, Jeff and Georgia McAlister. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:30 AM Berry Chapel. Pastor Dr. Walter Isley and Rev. Charles Justice will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of South Knoxville Baptist Church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to South Knoxville Baptist Church, 522 Sevier Ave., Knoxville, TN 37920 or to a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Boyd R. Webb; sister, Pearl Watson; daughter, Aurelia Sue Kennedy; along with her parents and brothers. granddaughter, Kecia Kennedy; grandsons, Rick, John and David Kennedy; sister-in-law, Marywill Rogers; and several great- grandchildren and cousins. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Ford officiating. Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, in charge.

Dupes, Tamarea "Tammie" Moore, Robert Eugene Everence, Frank "PeeWee" Beaty; great-grandchildren, Christopher Payne, Brandy Payne, Marie Moore, Michael Moore, Haley Doody, Marina Dupes, Lillian Adelia Everence; sisters, Phyllis Knight, Ruth Craft and husband, Zedra; brother, Thomas Barry; sister-in-law, Lib Converse; special friend, Albert "Demp" Maples; special nephew, Lon Barry Knight; and several nieces and nephews.
