George & his wife, Rachel, have lived in Knoxville for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents. A veteran of the US Air Force, former member of the TN Air National Guard & Knoxville Reserve Police, Member of American Legion Post #0278, graduate of the University of Tennessee, Iota Lambda Sigma member, South Doyle High School teacher, a beloved husband, step-father, brother, uncle & friend. Franklin D. Anderson, age 60 of Knoxville, TN died Monday, November 6, 2000 at his home. Mr. Anderson was a preceded in death by his parents Hugh G. and Nellie Mae Anderson. He was a member of the Oak Ridge Faith Masonic Lodge, Kerbela Temple and the Scottish Rite Temple. He was an Air Force veteran and an alumni of the FBI Academy. Mr. Anderson worked for the Oak Ridge Police Department as a Detective Sergeant, was a nuclear courier for the Department of Energy, and was retired from the State of Tennessee from the Health Related Board, where he served as a state investigator. He was of the Protestant faith.
