Stanley Kesler, Jr.

Kesler, Stanley, Jr., age 82, formerly of Knoxville, passed away on September 5, 2000 in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a resident. Mr. Kesler was a 1941 graduate of Georgia Tech. He served as a First Lieutenant in the US Army Air Corps during World War II and was stationed in the South Pacific with aircraft maintenance. He retired from TVA as Branch Chief of the Mechanical Engineering Branch. During his career with TVA, he developed several patents on dam and lock heavy equipment, as well as a patent on coal handling equipment that was used internationally. Mr. Kesler's wife of 55 years, Melba Frost Kesler, preceded him in death in 1998. Funeral services will be held Saturday at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake Hills Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 3805 Maloney Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church. Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway in charge of arrangements.

She was a faithful church and choir member of Faith Lutheran Church, Lehigh Acres, FL, member of the Eastern Star and White Shrine. She was also a volunteer at East Point Hospital, Lehigh Acres, FL. Clarissa Louise Raybould, 102 1/2, born January, 9 1898 in Chicago, Illinois; died September 1, 2000 in Yuma, Arizona. Clarissa was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were Elizabeth Louise and George Arthur Helbing, a prominent business man in the area. Her mother died when Clarissa was only two years old and was taken care of by her maternal grandmother until her father remarried. She was the youngest of four children. She also had two half sisters. After completing high school, she worked in her father's store as a bookkeeper until she married her husband Harold in 1919. After the death of her husband, she lived in Oak Ridge, TN for 23 years, 4 years in Mission Viejo, CA, and Yuma, AZ for 1 year and 7 months. Clarissa will be remembered for her deep faith in God, for the spiritual legacy she handed down to her four children and for her sacrificial love she had for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was respected by her family and friends and will be remembered for her sharing and caring ways. She was preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Harold G. Raybould, Sr. of Chicago, Ill.; daughter, Bernice C. Raybould Wing of Oak Ridge, TN; grandson, Bobby Raybould, New Jersey. Children: Harold G. Raybould, Jr., of Yuma, AZ; Clifford C. Raybould, of Linwood, NJ; Ruth E. Raybould Radzwill, of Yuma, AZ Pallbearers will be: Scott Wing, Bob Hampstead, Mark Raybould, Paul Raybould, James Radzwill, and John Paul Hampstead.
