Sisters: Betty West, Mary Lou Barron, and Angeline Hayes Funeral services will be Monday 8 PM at Berry Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Wilder officiating. Mount, Vera, age 101, of Murphy, NC, died Saturday, June 3, 2000 in a Murphy Care Center. She was a native of Sevier County, TN, but had lived most of her life in Knoxville before moving to Murphy in 1995. She was the daughter of the late P.I. and Mary Louisa Sanders Mount. She was a fur designer, having worked for Vola Furriers and Miller's Department Store in Knoxville. She was an active member in the Church Street United Methodist Church and the Volunteer Sunday School Class.
