He was a member of Hendrons Chapel United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was also a 32nd Degree Mason. Preceded in death by first wife Stella Houser Kelly; daughter Helen Kelly. Wife: Nancy A. Kelly In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hendrons Chapel United Methodist Church, 8015 Chapman Hwy. Knoxville, TN 37920. Masonic services will be Sunday, 8 PM at Berry Chapel by the South Knoxville Lodge #769 F&AM; with the funeral service immediately following with the Rev.'s Ashley M. Calhoun, Charles Burnett, and Wayne Campbell officiating. Interment will be Monday, 11 AM at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday, 6 until 8 PM at Berry Funeral Home Chapman Hwy.

Owen A. Belden

He was a charter member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church where he served as elder and deacon. He owned and managed McCallie Shoe Company before closing the business in 1985 and was a landscaper until the present time. He was a Second Lieutenant in the Air Corps during World War II and served as Scout Master of Troop 33 at Lake Forest. Wife of 54 1/2 years: Sara McCallie Belden Memorial service 11:00 AM Saturday, February 26, 2000, Lake Forest Presbyterian Church. Rev. Kirk Werner officiating. Interment will be private at Highland Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lake Forest Presbyterian Church Memorial Landscaping Fund, 714 Lake Forest Drive, Knoxville, TN 37920.
