DROTOS, BARBARA E. (AKARD), age 64, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Attended Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a 1960 graduate of Ft. Sanders School of Nursing, served in the U.S. Air Force as a nurse and retired from Prince William Hospital in Manassas, VA. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest Akard and Ollice Caldwell Akard. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Danny Drotos and Therese Saggau; daughter, Beverly Drotos; granddaughter, Audrey Claire Drotos; ex-husband, John Drotos. Memorial service 2 P.M. Lucille Ellen Mummert Kasten, age 87 of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Fort Pierce, Florida and Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2002. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sevierville. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Fort Pierce, Florida Chapter serving several years as their recorder. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Donald Frank Kasten, parents, George E. and Jennie Lechner Mummert, brothers, Lawrence and Kenneth Mummert, George and Cecil Chidester, and a sister Vera Erwin. Survivors: Daughter: Maryellen Kasten Family and friends will meet 10 AM Friday at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens in Pigeon Forge for graveside service and interment. Rev. Linsey H. He was a long-term employee of Buddy's Bar-b-que and a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by father, Rev. Clayton Shaw.
