Mildred Anna McCarter Hopkins, age 74 of Pittman Center, Tennessee, died Thursday, July 11, 2002, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Webb’s Creek United Methodist Church. She was employed by Dr. Ralph Shilling in Gatlinburg for approximately twenty-two years until his death in 1972. She was preceded in death by parents Carl B. and Vernie Price McCarter. She served as regional and international levels, which included International Philanthropic Chairman Alumnae Director, Regional Vice-President, International Administrative Vice President, International President, and National Pan-Hellenic Conference Delegate.
