Funeral services for Fransis Penny were conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at Woodbine Funeral Home, 3620 Nolensville Road, Nashville, TN with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Ralph Thomas Kingery
Mr. Ralph Thomas Kingery, age 73, of Hwy. 231 S., Bethpage, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2002 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 6, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland, conducted by Bro. Randy Wells, Bro. Chris King, Bro. Doyle Farris. Burial was in Siloam Cemetery.
He was born in Tompkinsville, KY, March 24, 1929, the son of the late Orville Kingery and Cretie Holloway. He was married to Betty R. Reed Kingery of Bethpage, who survives. He was retired from General Motors in Kokomo, IN and a member of Westmoreland Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Diana Gattis of Fairview, TN; two brothers, Richard Kingery of Frankfort, IN and Russell Kingery of Tipton, IN; two sisters, Mary Crews of Tipton, IN and Dorothy Poindexter of Noblesville, IN.

Melvaline Jenkins
Melvaline M. Jenkins died July 7, 2002 at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis, In. Melvaline was born in Lafayette on June 5, 1935 to James Franklin Whittemore and Ollie Bell Green Whittemore. She worked for Western Electric for 15 years and retired in 1997 from Carr Metal Products in Indianapolis, In. She was prededed in death by her parents, a brother, Delton Whittemore, and a sister, Ruby Tempest.
Survivors include 6 children; Lonnie R. Jenkins, Patricia F. Carr, Donnia K. Cummins, Reginia G. Hunnicutt, Denny C. Jenkins, Emrick J. Jenkins; brothers, James Whittemore; Harold Whittemore of Lafayette; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services on July 11th were held at the Hendryx Mortuaries and Cumberland Chapel in Indianapolis, In. Burial is in Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Leora Sewell
Leora Sewell, age 88, of 337 Ferguson Hill Road, Lafayette, Tn., died Sunday April 28, 2002 at her daughters residence in Franklin, Indiana. She was born Tuesday, April 29, 1913 in Macon County, Tn. A daughter of the late William Cox and Pearl Hauskins Cox. She was a homemaker and a member of Lafayette Church of Christ. On July 4, 1931 she was united in marriage to Ray Sewell, who preceded her in death on December 16, 1966. She is survived by 4 daughters: Virginia Atkins, Lafayette, Tn.; Martha (James) Whittemore, Indianapolis, In.; Dixie (Norman) Cross, Fountain Run, Ky.; and Rebecca (Billy) York, Franklin, In.;2 sons: William A. (Lil) Sewell, Edinburgh, In.; and Paul L. (Shirley) Sewell, Franklin, In.; 3 sisters: Gladys Cox and Ida Fishburn; both of Gallatin, Tn.; and Allie Wheeler, Scottsville, Ky.; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Phyllis Lemon and 3 sisters.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tn., with Ron Roberson and Mike Rogers officiating. Burial was in Roark Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Harper, Ronnie Whittemore, Alan Whittemore, Bob Lemon, Wayne York, Bobby York, and Jeff Sewell.

Thomas Greene Haley
Thomas Greene Haley, 82, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2002 in Indianapolis. He was born December 22, 1919 in Macon County, TN, a son of the late Grover C. Haley and Neva Meador Haley. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, a member of East Tenth Street United Methodist Church, and was retired from Naval Avionics. He was married to the late Helen L. Gasper Haley.
He is survived by two sons, Gregg E. Haley and Tracey L. Haley; a brother, Grover Allen Haley, Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Bessie Laura Morgan, Indianapolis, IN and Willa Bea Chapman, Columbus, IN; three grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Henry Polston, Lafayette, TN. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Vergie Lee Haley Polston, Kate Haley Cothron, and Georgia Alice Haley; and two brothers, Charles Edgar Haley and Elbridge Justin Haley.
Funeral services for Thomas Greene Haley were conducted Monday, July 1, 2002, 2 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel in Indianapolis with burial in Washington Park East Cemetery.

Sharlotta May DeRee, 50, of Lafayette, Tn. passed away Monday, April 29, 2002 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tn.
The Indianapolis, IN native was born April 6, 1952, a daughter of the late Jack Lewis Kraning and Evelyn Jean Maines Kraning. She was a resident of Indianapolis until six years ago when her family moved to Macon County. She was a homemaker and a member of Westside Christian Church in Indianapolis.
She is survived by her husband, Paul E. DeRee, Sr. Lafayette, Tn.; 2 daughters, Sundi Dawn DeRee, Indianapolis, Ind.; and Leah M. Jines, Lafayette, Tn.; 4 sons, James C. Brown, Lafayette, Tn.; Steve Jines, Hartsville, Tn.; Paul DeRee, Jr., Indianapolis, Ind.; and Everett Quick, Bloomington, Ind.; a brother, Thomas Kraning, Wichita Falls, Tx.; 3 sisters, Joanna Crafton, Pamala Barnes, and Valaire Harden, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Mary Tarter on March 10, 2002, a sister, Bethany Ratcliff and a brother, Jack E. Kraning.
Funeral services for Sharlotta May DeRee were held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2002 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tn., with Rev. Bruce Kirby officiating. Burial was in the Nelson McDonald Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Ratcliff, Thomas Kraning, Steven Jines, Paul DeRee 111, Pamala Barnes, Cynthia Ratcliff, and Katrina Johnston.

William James Donoho, Jr.
Funeral services for William James Donoho, Jr. age 53, if Mt. Juliet, were conducted Thursday, June 27, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. from Long Fork Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Dean Sircy officiating. Friends served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
William James Donoho, Jr. passed away Monday, June 24, 2002 at his home.
Mr. Donoho was the son of Mrs. Jessie Mildred Donoho and the late William James Donoho, formerly of Macon County. He was married to Linda Henley Donoho who survives. He was owner of Donoho Enterprises and a member of McFerran Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Madison.
Survivors besides his wife and mother include: daughter Allison Roston, Nashville, Tn., step-daughter Allison Hurst, Jackson, Tn, son William J. Donoho 111, Nashville, step-son Kevin Sipes, Nashville and 2 grandchildren.
