Bobby Dennis Driver
Bobby Dennis Driver, 66, of Glasgow, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 27, 2005 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was born in Holland, Kentucky on January 15, 1939 and moved to the Temple Hill Community of Barren County in 1951. He graduated from Temple Hill High School and was an outstanding athlete in football, basketball, baseball, and track. He was a 1964 graduate of Western Kentucky University where he played baseball all four years and was a member of the "W" Club. During the season of 1964, he was the acting assistant baseball coach. As a result of his love of sports, he became a high school coach. At Hiseville he coached football, J V basketball, and boyâs track and also starting his teaching career. He later taught and coached at Glasgow High School and Allen County-Scottsville High School. While at Allen County-Scottsville High School he started the first varsity football team. He ended his 30 year teaching and coaching career at Glasgow Middle School where he taught social studies and coached 8th grade football and girls basketball. He was an umpire for the Glasgow Recreation Department during summer months and also played for the Groce Oil softball team and the American Legion Baseball Team.

Hagar Lee Farley
Mr. Hagar Lee Farley, age 85, of Hartsville, TN, died Sunday morning, Jan. 23, 2005 at Smith County Memorial Hospital.

Justin Tyler Franklin
Justin Tyler Franklin, age 5, of the Kempville Community passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 25, 2005 at Monroe Carroll Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Ted Thome
Funeral services for Ted Thome, age 56, of North Springs Community of Jackson County, were conducted Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with E.C. Meadows officiating.

Juel Stone Tomlin
Funeral services for Juel Stone Tomlin, age 80, of Murfreesboro, formerly of Lafayette, TN were conducted Tuesday afternoon, February 1, 2005 from the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Terry Austin officiating. Honorary Pallbearer was Jerry Scurlock. Active Pallbearers were Wayne Hesson, Mike Hesson, Kevin Wooten, Steve Clayborne, Carl Haile, Bobby Cherry. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Bessie Wilmore
Mrs. Bessie Wilmore, age 82, of Wilmore Lane in Pleasant Shade died Sunday morning, Jan. 30, 2005 at Mariner Health Care in Lebanon following a long illness.

Ethel Bilbrey Witcher
Funeral services for Ethel Bilbrey Witcher, age 70, of the Rose Hill Community were conducted Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, 2 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with E.C. Meadows and Gene Carter officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Mark Brockett, Danny Gentry, Jared Gentry, Nick Gentry, Kent Smith, Lanny Hudson and Brian Massey. Active pallbearers were Ed Pharris, David Andrews, Dwight Bilbrey, Derik Bilbrey, Doug Dennis, Eldon Witcher, Jr., Terry Bilbrey and Brian Richardson. Interment followed in the John L. Clark Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN.

Anna Mae Boles
Funeral services for Anna Mae Boles, age 95, of 227 Obey Dr., Celina, Tennessee, were held Sunday, April 9, 226 at Upton Funeral Home with Bill Threet officiating. Interment followed in Turkeytown Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mark Jenkins, Dusty Boles, Chip Smith, Chuck Riddle, Jeff Carroll, and Joe Huddleston.

Doris Lynn Diver
Doris Lynn Driver, age 78, of Hendersonville, passed away April 9, 2006. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, precious mother-in-law and very special friend, Mrs. Driver was a member of Goodlettsville Church of Christ.

Imogene Graves
Funeral services for Imogene Virginia Ray Graves, age 82, of Fountain Run, KY were held Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Hughes Funeral Home with Bro. Nicholas Hurt officiating. Interment was in Fountain Run Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Parsley, Joel Woodcock, Bobby Key, Eutra Shirle. Pallbearers were Dewayne McIntyre, Bobby Morrison, Eddie Harrison, Jeff Downing, Jimmy Billingsley, and John Howard.

Lena Jones Hightower
Lena Jones Hightower, 91, a resident of Knollwood Manor in Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tennessee. The Macon County, Tennessee native was born Wednesday, February 3, 1915, a daughter of the late Harmon Jones and Cam White Jones. She was a homemaker and member of Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church. In 1932 she was united in marriage to Connie Hightower, who preceded her in death on September 1, 1971.

Paul Rondal Hutson
Funeral services for Paul Rondal Hutson, age 88, of 6881 Bugtussle Road, Gamaliel, KY, were held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel, KY with Mike Carver, Kyle Gammons, and Dale Strong officiating. Interment was in Rocky Hill Cemetery in Gamaliel, KY. Pallbearers were Chris Trent, Leon Crabtree, James Wheeler, David Carter, James Clemons Hutson, and Orran Sanders.

Lattie E. Marion
Lattie E. Marion, 79, of the Mt. Union Community in Allen County, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2006 at the Cal Turner Extended Care Facility in Scottsville, Kentucky. The Macon County, Tennessee native was born Monday, July 26, 1926, a son of the late George Marion and Frances Alda Gilliam Marion Blankenship. He was a farmer and retired truck driver, a United States Army Veteran of World War II, and a member of Mt. Union United Methodist Church. On February 21, 1948, he was united in marriage to Reeda Mae Gaulden Marion.

J.D. Gregory
J.D. Gregory, age 80, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, April 10, 2006, at the Palace in Red Boiling Springs. Funeral services for J.D. Gregory were conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2006, from the Chapel of the Alexander Goad Funeral Home with Elder Terry Austin officiating. Gary Kemp, Everette Wilburn, Dean Wilburn, Robby Gregory, Jackie Gregory, Donnie Gregory, Harold Meador, William Merritte, and Todd Jones, served as pallbearers. Interment was in Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Jonathan Hudson
Jonathan Alexander Hudson, age 16, of Lafayette, passed away April 14, 2006 from a drowning accident at Dale Hollow Lake. Funeral services for Jonathan Alexander Hudson were conducted Wednesday, April 19, 2006 from the Macon County High School Football Field with Bro. Rick Dickerson and Elder Benny Maggart officiating. The Seth Foundation, football players, junior class and football coaches were honorary pallbearers. Bubba Young, Ronnie Mowell, Kaleb Dickerson, Nick Hall, Spencer Young and Kyle Woodard were active pallbearers. Interment was in Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Ralph Sherman Jent
Ralph Sherman Jent, age 85, of Lafayette passed away Monday, April 10, 2006 at Macon County General Hospital. Funeral services for Ralph S. Jent were conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2006 from the Chapel of Alexander Goad Funeral Home with Elder Paul Oldham officiating. Carl Hudgens, Carl Davenport, Herbert Fuqua, Ocial Sharpton, and Former Employees of Formfit Rogers served as honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers were Jack Butrum, Tommy Law, Rick Gann, Randy Lowe, Lynn Newberry, and Carl Wilson. Interment was in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Jesse Jones
Jesse Galord Jones, age 76, of Lafayette, passed away Friday, April 14, 2006 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services for Jesse Galord Jones were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006 from the Chapel of the Alexander Goad Funeral Home with Brother Jackie Rich officiating. Interment was in the Hayesville Cemetery with the Commander US Navy Region Southeast honoring Mr. Jones for his 20 years of service to his country by providing full military honors with pallbearers, Rifle Team, Bugler, and Flag Folding presentation.
