Draxie Guyland Lewis, 90, passed away June 30 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Services were held July 2 at Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Damon Corley officiating. Interment followed at Hoover Cemetery.
Draxie Guyland Lewis was born Sept. 12, 1914 in Overton County. She was a member of the Allons Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include son, Guyland Lewis of Livingston; daughters, Glenda Sue Beasley Howard of Rickman, Genola Cooper of Livingston and Barbara Gail Wells of Livingston; sister, Ruth Copeland of Haines City, FL.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Finley and Josie Gilpatrick Maynord; husband, Frank Lewis; grandson, Mike Lewis and a sister, Arxie Seber.

Will T. Dixon, 80, passed away Oct. 3 at his home in the Sycamore Valley Community. Services were held Oct. 5 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Eld. Terry Austin and Eld. Wayne Gregory officiating. Interment followed at Pirtle Cemetery.
Pallbearers included: Joseph Dixon, Allen Dixon, Timothy Dixon, Troy Day, Thomas Dixon and Lannie Thomas.
Honorary Pallbearers included: Dustin Silcox and Anthony Martin.
Will T. Dixon was born April 1, 1925 in Jackson County.
Surviving relatives include daughter, Wanda and husband Gerald Donoho of the Sycamore Valley Community; daughter-in-law, Joyce Dixon of the Difficult Community; three sisters, Lecta Pearl Sircy of Gainesboro, Sally Bell Thomas of the Gladdice Community and Irene Cook of Hartsville; six grandchildren, Charlotte Day, Allen Dixon, Timothy Dixon, Bridget Silcox, Cynthia Dixon and Joseph Dixon and eight great-grandchildren, Heather Day, Kara Day, Dustin Silcox, Bailey Silcox, Kirsty Martin, Anthony Martin, Brittany Dixon and Elizabeth Dixon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aster E. “Boss” Dixon and Patsy Sircy Dixon; wife, Gracie Lee West Dixon; two sons, Will John Dixon and Jerry Dixon; three brothers, Bedford Dixon, Hubert Dixon and Ottis Dixon and four sisters, Ann Woodard, Altie Mullinax, Nettie Scott and Georgie Holmes.

Jerry Ray Waller was born Feb. 7, 1943 in Putnam County. He was the owner and operator of Jerry’s Auto Sales and Body Shop in Cookeville. He was a former employee of the Acme Boot Company of Cookeville. He attended New Hope Community Church in Gainesboro.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Mary Wheeler Waller of Cookeville; daughter, Lisa and husband Kevin Cronk of Rickman; sister, Geraldine and husband Lewis Billingsley of Cookeville; brother, C.E. Bud Waller of Algood; three grandchildren, Tyler, Brett and Hailey Cronk; brothers and sister-in-laws, Reba and husband Pope Allen, Billy and wife Pam Wheeler, Dewey and wife Nita Wheeler, Gene and wife Juanita Wheeler and Dorothy Harris all of Cookeville and Edith Upchurch of Baxter; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allie and Sallie Betty Julian Waller.

Homer C. Neal, 87, passed away Oct. 3 at Standing Stone Care and Rehab Center. Services were held Oct. 6 at Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Honeycutt officiating. Interment followed at Okolona Cemetery.
Pallbearers included: Trent Phillips, Derek Beasley, Kelley Morgan, Tim Reid, Mark Brown and Charles Cumby.
Honorary Pallbearers included: Alton Mercer, long time friend.
Homer C. Neal was born May 5, 1918 in Overton County. He was a furniture factory worker. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Dortha Neal of Rickman; sons, Jeff and wife June of Livingston and Mark and wife Kathy Neal also of Livingston; daughter, Dianna Poston of Rickman; two grandchildren, Elaine Morgan of Cookeville and Steve Poston of Rickman; two step-grandchildren, and two step-great-great children and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Minnie Gore Neal; two brothers and three sisters.

Brookelyn Faye Conner was born July 5, 1987 in Overton County. She lived most of her life in Overton County.

Mathew E. Emerick was born Oct. 12, 1983 in Montgomery County, OH. He was a resident of Livingston.
Surviving relatives include mother, Marilyn and husband Junior Roop; father, David and wife Brenda Emerick all of Livingston; grandmothers, Marquerite Emerick of Troy, OH. and Kathleen Mathews of Palm Coast, FL.; wife, April Emerick of Allons; brothers, Zakari Emerick and Erik Emerick both of Livingston; sisters, Elsey Emerick, Emma Miller and Shianne Roop all of Livingston, Nicci Emerick of Portland, OR. and Anna Miller of Sharon Springs, NY.; nephew, Nicholas Emerick and niece Savannah Miller.

Kenneth M. Qualls was born Feb. 8, 1943 in Overton County. He was employed by Russell Stover Candy.
Surviving relatives include wife, Dottie Qualls of Rickman; daughters, Amy Garrett of Algood, Myra and husband Mike Elder of Jonesboro, Tn.; brother, Doyle Qualls of South Carolina; sister, Betty Gantt of North Carolina and two grandchildren, Griffin Elder and Lilly Elder.
