Funeral services for W.J. “Wise Owl” Hendrixson, 85, of Smithville, were held Wednesday, January 7, 2004 in the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.
Bro. Chuck Olsen and Bro. Author Redmon officiated and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hendrixson passed away Sunday, January 4, 2004 at his residence. He was retired from Valdor Ind., a member of the VFW American Legion and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by parents, James L. and Dora Waller Hendrixson; grandson, Chris Webb; brothers, Toy and Herman Hendrixson; sister, Vennie Kilgore.
He is survived wife, Clarene Hendrixson of Smithville; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy R. and Virgie Hendrixson of Smithville; daughter and son-inlaw, Jackie and Larry Webb of Smithville; granddaughter, Molly Hendrixon of Smithville; grandson, Brad Webb of Smithville; great grandson, Braedon Jett Hendrixson of Smithville.
Pallbearers included: Jack, Frank, Harold, Kelly and Bryant Kilgore, T.J. and Mike Hendrixson, Gilford Walker.

Gill
Funeral services for James William Gill, 64, of Smithville, Tn were held Friday, January 2, 2004 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville. Burial followed in the Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Gill passed away Monday, December 29, 2003 at Centennial Medical Center. He was a systems Analyst with International Trade Commissions and a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by parents, Uel and Bertie Bing Gill.
He is survived by three daughters, Lisa Mercilliott, Donna Brannon & Karen Thompson all of Maryland; three grandchildren, Sarah and Caitlin Brannon and Ryan Thompson all of Maryland; brother, Bobby Gill of Maryland; two nieces, Laura and Maureen Gill of Maryland; three aunts, Billie Robinson and Betty Smith of Smithville and Jessie Smith of Maryland.
Pallbearers included: Kent and Kerry Robinson, Rick Lee, Gary Malone, Dub Evins, Kenneth Pack, Jim Owens and Larry Knowles. Honorary pallbearers were Dick Mann, Harold Bain, Chris Smithson, Mark and Kevin Robinson and Lloyd Black.

Pease
Graveside Services for Richard “Dick” Clinton Pease, 65, were held Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Mr. Pease was born in Gratiot, MI on October 2, 1938. He died unexpectedly at his sister’s home Sunday, December 28, 2003 in Muncie, IN where he had been visiting for the Christmas Holidays. He was a 1956 graduate of Muncie Center High School in Muncie, IN and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clinton and Ruth Saxon Pease and brother-in-law, Larry Brown.
He is survived by two sisters: Ruty (Bill) Liner of Smithville and Dorothy Brown of Muncie, IN; four nieces and nephews: James (Deborah) Dalton of Gaston, IN; Robert (Rhonda) Dalton, Deborah Winningham and Jennifer Hull all of Muncie, IN; several step-nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Judkins
Funeral Services for Bea Robinson Judkins, 83, of Smithville, TN were held Sunday, January 4, 2003 in the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.
Sister Frances Foster officiated and burial followed in Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Judkins died Friday, January 2, 2004 at Baptist DeKalb Hospital. She was a retired waitress at Berchie’s Sweet Shop and a member of Allen’s Chapel Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Monroe and Julie Taylor Pedigo, 1st husband, Howard Robinson and son, David Robinson.
She is survived by her husband, Edd Judkins of Smithville; two step-daughters: Marilyn Barber of Smithville and JoAnn Roberts of McMinnville; two step-grandchildren: Stevie Green of McMinnville and Rachel Goodwin of Smithville; two half-brothers: Alfred Pedigo of Smithville and James Pedigo of Sparta and one half-sister, Eva Cubbins of Smithville.

Funeral Services for Gary Wayne Crook, 43, of Smithville, TN were held Sunday, January 4, 2004 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel.
Bro. Frank Bratcher officiated and burial followed in Crook Family Cemetery.
Mr. Crook died Thursday, January 2, 2004. He was disabled and a member of Mt. Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Will Allen Crook and brother, Glen Allen Crook.
He is survived by wife, Janice Crook; three daughters: Karen Caballero and Lori Lewis all of Smithville and Dana Maxwell of St. Marys, GA; mother, Nettie Lou Judkins and brother, Billy Crook both of Smithville; sister, Brenda Bratcher of Carthage; maternal grandmother, Lucille Certain and paternal grandmother, Eva Crook both of Smithville; two grandchildren: Gabriel Lewis and Cody Maxwell.
Serving as pallbearers were John Lewis, Meguel Caballero, Jeremy Maxwell, Chuck Mosley, David Crook and Bryan Bratcher.

Larry Edward Frasier, 60, of Smithville, TN passed away Sunday, December 21, 2003 at Baptist DeKalb Hospital. His body was cremated.
Mr. Frasier was disabled and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by parents, Fred Raymond & Lillie Marie Steele Frasier.
He is survived by wife, Ann Frasier of Smithville; daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Edgar Galdamaz of California; two sons & daughter-in-laws, Tom & Jina Frasier of California, Roger & Sissae Frasier of Texas; three grandchildren.

Funeral services for H.D. (Dee) Love, 89, of Woodbury, TN were held Saturday, January 3, 2004 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Bro. Tom Binford officiated with burial following in the Whorton Springs Cemetery in Smithville.
Mr. Love passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Born in Smithville, he was a retired owner of Woodbury Auto Supply, a WWII Army veteran, member of the Woodbury United Methodist Church and a member of the Friendly Fox Hunters Club.
He was preceded in death by parents, Frank & Verna Parker Love.
He is survived by wife, Jewell Puckett Love of Woodbury; son, Raymond (Janey) Love of Woodbury; three daughters, Ila Tidwell of Murfreesboro, Nancy (Jack) Daniel of Tullahoma and Ellen Love of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Deanna Robbins, Jeremiah Love and Bobby Davenport, Jr.; six greatgrandchildren.
