DELP, GEORGIA, age 80, of Rutledge, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998. Funeral services 8:00 p.m. Saturday at The Mooresburg Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Interment 11:00 a.m. Sunday at Holston View Cemetery in Webber City, Va. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at The Mooresburg Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Stubblefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

MCCOLLOUGH, WAYNE LLOYD, SR., age 65, of Mooresburg, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998. Funeral services 11:00 a.m. Saturday at The Mooresburg Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Interment in Meek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Mooresburg Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Stubblefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

KNIGHT, VICTOR ORLANDA, age 46, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 1998 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. Funeral services will be Saturday, 12:00 noon at Rock of Ages Baptist Church with Rev. Lorrin Harris and Rev. Linda Treece officiating. Interment will follow in the City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon prior to the services. Westside Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

BAILEY, STEVE GREGORY, age 42, of Rutledge, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 1998 in Philadelphia, PA. He was a member of Iron Workers Local 384 since 1974. Mr. Bailey is survived by his loving wife of three years, Janie and daughter Eliza Jane; mother and father George and Junav Bailey of Mascot; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Jo Bailey and son Gabe of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Mike Stalans and sons John and Wes of Blaine. Funeral services will be held Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Walker and Rev. Mike Lee officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Roseberry Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darrell McDaniel, Clarence Keaton, John Mixon, Roy Minton, Lawrence Bozeman, Jeff Plant, Harold Watson and Joe Cartrett. A great man who will be remembered always by everyone. Anyone who ever met this man loved him. He loved to hunt and loved life. He touched many hearts and will never be forgotten. Arrangements made by Smith Funeral Home in Rutledge.

ROWLAND, GERTRUDE, age 80, of Rutledge, passed away Thursday, November 12, 1998, at Lakeway Regional Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Rowland is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Bobbie Rowland and Marty and Karen McNish; daughters and sons-in-law, Carole and Jim Looney and Kaye and Gary Bessant; sister, Ola Martin and brother, J.W. Speegle; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Martin Roach and Rev. Marvin Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Central Point Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home in Rutledge is in charge of arrangements.

MALLETTE, MAXINE, age 50, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, November 12, 1998, at her residence, following a brief illness. She was employed with Colboch Harley Davidson. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy E. Greene and nephew, Mickey Greene. She is survived by her lifelong companion, Kenneth “Smokey” Colboch of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and James “Gip” Gipson of Morristown; step-daughters, Debra Hoover and Diane Vaughn, both of Morristown; grandchildren, John David and Alexandria Gipson, Jesse Parker and Kyle Vaughn, all of Morristown; mother, Imogene Greene of Rogersville; two brothers, Wayne and Elmer Greene, both of Rogersville. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 1998, at Colboch-Price Chapel with Rev. Brad Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to F.A.M.E. (Flowers Around Morristown Enterprise) Care of K.A.B. (Keep America Beautiful) 814 W. Main Street, Morristown, TN. 37814. KING, MARY RUTH, age 71, of Morristown, passed away Monday, Nov. 9,1998 at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Faith Independent Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Tate Noe and Angie Welch Noe; two sisters, Myrtle Seals and Nannie Belle Noe. Survivors: husband, James C. King; daughter, Kay Morgan of Rutledge. Robin Jarnigan of Mooresburg; son, James T. King; sisters, Gladys Noe of Bean Station, Tiny Crews of Morristown; granddaughter, Angie Gentry of Bean Station; grandsons, Logan, Lucas and Hunter Jarnigan of Mooresburg; one great-grandchild, Ashley Gentry of Bean Station. Funeral services 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Independent Baptist Church with Rev. Don Lamb and Rev. Doug King officiating. Interment in Hamblen Memory Gardens. MIRACLE, WILLIAM ISAAC, age 67, of Knoxville, passed away November 8, 1998 at home of cancer. He was a member of the Cedar Fork Baptist Church. Born in Claiborne County July 19, 1931. He was retired from Ennis Business Forms. Preceded in death by his parents, T. J. and Bessie Russell Miracle; brother and sister Lewis and Lucy Miracle. He is survived by his daughter Margaret Cloud; sons, Bill, Mark, and Timothy Miracle; grandchildren, Robert Miracle, Michael and Marlina Cloud; brothers, Roscoe, Bascom, and Conley Miracle; sisters, Verda Stone and Lilly Hembree. Will receive friends Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. WILLIAMS, PETE L., age 76, of White Pine, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 1998 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital after a long illness. Member of the Old Fashion Church of God of White Pine. Survived by brothers Robert L. Williams of White Pine and Austin T. Williams of Morristown; nephews, John Horner and Jerry Williams; niece, Mary Sue Albright; close friends James Rickard and Inez Collins; several other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998 at Farrar’s White Pine Chapel with Rev. Kristy Sutton and Rev. Lawrance Grooms officiating. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. prior to services. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998 at Coleman’s Cemetery for the interment. MILLER, WINNIE P., of 70 Park Lane, Greeneville, TN. 37743, born Nov. 6, 1908 in Greeneville, the mother of Jackie Lee Miller of Talbott, passed away November 9, 1998 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital, Greeneville. She was a homemaker. Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 10, 1998 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held at Kiser Funeral Home November 11, 1998. Interment at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Greeneville, Tennessee. Kiser Funeral Home in charge.
