DAVIS, CARROLL W., age 84, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 1998, at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. He was former co-owner of Silvers and Davis Plumbing; a veteran of World War II and a member of Cherokee Hills Baptist Church. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Martha Eland Davis; first wife, Christene Davis and brother, Brownie Davis. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Bishop Davis; daughters, and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Eddie Beckner of Morristown, Sherry and Bill Nenney of Harrison, TN., Dorothy Haynes and Tanya Stephenson of Morristown; granddaughters, Tina Hale, Terri Beckner, Debra Postelle, Donna Nenney, Niki Lephew and Kris Haynes; grandsons, Michael Holt and Benjamin Stephenson; great-grandchildren, John Edward Hale and Lance Postelle; sister, Mary Silvers of Morristown; two nieces. Funeral service will be Friday, 8:00 p.m. at Westside Chapel with Rev. Gary Biggs officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m. in the Jarnagin Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Sizemore; parents, Sterling and Sally Morgan; sister, Leona and great-granddaughter, Whitney Sizemore. Mrs. Sizemore is survived by three children and their spouses, Donnie and Pat Sizemore, Doris and Raymond Webb, Eddie and Sue Sizemore, all of Morristown; grandchildren and their spouses and great-grandchildren, Vicky, Marty and Travis Singleton, Jeff, Carol and Emily Sizemore, Tina, Troy and Casey Gibson, Steve, Stacy, Heather and Austin Webb; twin sister, Reba Nelle Hawk of Loudon; nieces and nephew, Charles Hawk of Mesa, AZ., Mary Ruth Shaw of Lenoir City, Betty Jo McCollough of Sweetwater, Barbara Hughes of Loudon and Margaret Hawk of Knoxville. Survivors: his wife Eunaive Blazer Gregg; sons, James E. and wife Nancy, Johnny L. and wife Peggy; daughters, Bettie and husband Charles Lefevers, Mary M. and husband Bill Simmons; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Weems; several nieces and nephews.
