He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam, a Mason and had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Knoxville. PUGLA, FLORENCE R., 75, of Morristown, formerly of Princeton, passed away Saturday, May 29, 1999 in Morristown. She was born February 11, 1924 in Pikeville, Ky. to the late Ran Roberts and Maxine Hale Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Pugla. She was a homemaker and lived in Morristown for the past four years with her daugh-ter, Mary Jo Lewis. Survivors, 2 daughters, Mary Jo Lewis of Morristown, Jacqueline Phipps of Peterstown, W.Va.; 2 sons, Glen Roberts of Fort Hill, N.C., Doyle Maskello of Princeton; 3 step-daughters, Peggy Hower-ton of Matoaka, Margaret Milam of Bluewell, W.Va., Victoria Adams of Princeton; 2 stepsons, Louis Pugalee of Matoaka, Dan Pugalee of Troy, Ohio; 1 brother, Doyle Roberts of New-port, R. STANFILL, MAZIE P., age 90, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 1, 1999. She passed away at her home after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Stanfill and a daughter, Patsy Vining. She was the last surviving member of Jack and Mary West of Morristown. She was a long-time member of Westview Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, James Stanfill of the home and one daughter, Juanita Clark of Forest Lake, Minn., and son-in-law, Warren Vining of Minn. She was the proud grandmother of 9 grandchilden; 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; 4 special nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2p.m. Friday at Westside Chapel with Rev. Charles Smith and Rev. Richard Crayne officiating. Interment to follow in the Jarnagin Cemetery.
