She was retired from Magnavox Co.; was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church; Ladies Auxiliary to the V.F.W. Post No. 1990. She was the daughter of the late Noah and Maggie Lou Owens White and was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Nelson; two brothers, Douglas and Ernest White; two sisters, Dora Long and Pauline Pinkston. Survivors: 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Maggie Lou and Boyd Lynch of Russellville, TN., and Ina Ruth and Conrad McMahan of Morristown; brother, Haskell White of Russellville, TN.; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Frank White of Russellville.
