HELTON, REAFORD STERLING, departed this life on April 4, 1999 at UT Hospital after a brief illness. He was a deacon and member of Old Spruce Pine Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Myrtle Helton; son, Gregory Helton. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Helton; one granddaughter, Penny Johnson of Morristown; sisters, Mary Ella Acuff, Christine Worley any Margarete Horner, all of Morristown; brothers, Walter Helton of Mooresburg and Grant Helton of Morristown. IVY, M. LOUISE, age 83, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, April 4, 1999 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. She was a member of Thankful Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, George and Mae Potter Gray; daughter, Loretta M. Dukes; grandson, Steve G. Ivy; brothers, Charles and Ed Gray. Survivors include her husband, Dudley B. Ivy; son and daughter-in-law, John D. (J.D.) and Jo Ann Ivy of Morristown; grandson, Johnny W. and Julia Jones; great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Jennifer, Codie, and Katie Jones of Newport. RAMSEY, HILLARY ROBINETTE, a retired employee of Farmers Home Administration (FHA) and founder of Quiet Meadows of Limestone, TN., died April 3, 1999 in a Chattanooga Nursing home. He was 87. Mr. Ramsey graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1937 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. He married the late Bernice Line Ramsey and established their home, Quiet Meadows in Limestone, TN., where they raised their only son, Winfred Hillary Ramsey of Signal Mountain, TN. While employed by FHA, he also pursued his love for farming at his Quiet Meadows Dairy Farm. A member of First Baptist Church of Morristown, TN. He was also a charter member and past President of the Limestone Ruritan Club and a member of the Greeneville Kiwanis Club. Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. W.N. Ramsey and Margaret Robinette Ramsey; step-mother, Bessie Robertson Ramsey; one sister, Oneida Ramsey Line; and widower of Bernice Line Ramsey and Margaret Waggoner Ramsey. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Winfred Hillary and Karen Woods Ramsey of Signal Mountain, TN.; one sister, Henrietta R. Hendrickson of Oak Ridge, TN.; brother, William (Bill) Ramsey ; brother, Frank Ramsey and wife Ruth, all of Morristown, TN.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Steve (Terri Lynn) Goione of Toms River, N.J., Mrs. Eddie (Michele) Rasnake of Chattanooga, TN,, Richard Ramsey of Orlando, FL.; two step-grandchildren, Melanie Burchfield and Jennifer Burchfield of Signal Mountain, TN.; eight great-grandchildren, Lauren Rasnake, Blake Rasnake, Michael Rasnake Chandler Rasnake, Shane Goione, Ashley Ann Goione, Shelby Goione and Virginia Ramsey; one step-great-granddaughter, Allyson Burchfield, and several nieces and nephews.
