WILBURN, CHARLEE I., age 82, of Morristown, formerly of LaFollette, passed away Monday, February 22, 1999 at Life Care Center. She was a member of Kidwells Ridge Baptist Church. While living in LaFollette, she and her husband owned and operated a restaurant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur T.Wilburn Sr.; parents, George and Bessie Lambert Walden. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, A.T (Art) and Gerry Wilburn, Bean Station; and three grandchildren; sister, Gerry Parrott Asher, Morristown; and brother, Richard Lambert of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Survivors: wife of 53 years, Virginia Rick; son, Robert Dan Rick Jr.; sisters, Alice Stamey of Cornerton, N.C., Inez Ward of Hickory, N.C. ; brother, Fred Rick of Gastonia, N.C.; grandchildren, Johnnie Newman, Teresa Williams and Bobbie Hinton; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Corey, and Sarah Hinton, Daniel Rick, Taylor Williams and Kelley Newman. BEWLEY, LONA, age 90, of Rogersville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 25th, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare Systems. She was born on January 9, 1909 in Pardee, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph D. Bewley; son, R.C. Lipton and grandson, Scott Westmoreland. Survivors: sons are Rev. R.B. Bewley of Tullahoma; Bob Bewley of Rogersville; Jack Bewley of Russellville; Don Bewley of Whitesburg; J.R. Bewley of Morristown. Daughters are: LouiseWalker of Russellville, Betty Jones and Patsy Johnson of Morristown. Twenty-eight grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. Brother; Frank Creech, Jr. of Lafollette, Tenn. Sister; Dorothy Benton of KY. Also several nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by her husband Hubert Buchanan, father and mother Jonah and Lillie Gulley; brothers Robert Gulley, Omer Gulley, Clyde Gulley, Fred Gulley, Ira Lee Gulley and James R. Gulley. GARLAND, ROBERT (BUG), age 46, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 25, 1999, at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital, following an apparent heart attack. He was employed by Yelton and Davis Logging Co. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Garland; brother, Charles Garland. He is survived by his wife, Betty Garland of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Heather Garland of Eidson; daughters and sons-in-laws, Mrs. Scott (Michelle) Fleenor of Kyles Ford and Mrs. Mike (Loretta) Gilliam of Rogersville; three grandchildren; Amber and Blake Garland and Cody Fleenor. Mother is Phoebe Garland of Bakersville, N.C.; three sisters, Martha Broderick of Georgia, Rosella Yelton of North Carolina and Anna McKuhen of Georgia; three brothers, Bradley Garland of Virginia, Guy Garland of Rogersville and Phillip Garland of North Carolina. Also, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 1999 at Colbach-Price Chapel with Rev. G.B. Garland officiating interment will follow in the Roger Sizemore Cemetery.
