MARTIN, ROBBIE FRANCIS, age 40, a native of Jefferson County, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, in London, KY. He was the brother of Ann West of Talbott, TN. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Laurel Funeral Home in London, KY., with Bro. Ronnie Hale officiating. Interment will follow in the Martin Cemetery. SHOCKLEY, ROY WILEY, age 70, of Morristown, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at the home. He was of the Baptist faith and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Elbert and Victoria Cook Shockley, and a brother, Coy Shockley. Survivors include: wife, Betty Marsh Shockley of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Terrianne Shockley of Atlanta, GA.; daughter, Deborah Trusler of Nashville, TN.; grandchildren, 1st. Lt. Powell Trusler III, Fort Campbell, KY., Lindsey Trusler of Morristown and Stacy and Scott Shockley of Atlanta. GA.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Una and James Robertson, Morristown, TN., Beulah and Gene Southern, Rutledge, TN.; several nieces , nephews and cousins. Graveside services for Mr. Shockley will be conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 1:00 p.m. in the Hamblen Memory Gardens. The Rev. Charles Davis will officiate. The family of Mr. Shockley will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Monday at Mayes Mortuary. FIELDS, DELBERT, age 74, 396 Pine St., Benham, KY., passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 1999 after a long illness. He was a retired miner after 39 years.; employed by International Harvester Co.; member of Blair Chapel; Benham Lodge No. 880 F&AM and Eastern Star. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was the son of The late Henry and Amanda Wilson Fields; preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Forester Blalock Fields, who died in 1984 and second wife, Mildred Highfield Whitaker Fields who died in 1998. BOATMAN, DEAN, age 60, of Dandridge, passed away suddenly 7:48 a.m. Sunday, February 7, 1999 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Mitchell Springs Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Eulah Mae Hurst Boatman and a brother, Kenneth Boatman. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Frances Lee Boatman of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Pam Boatman; grandchildren, Sidney and wife Michelle Boatman, Dawn and husband Carl Branch, and Ashley Boatman, all of Dandridge; sisters, Eva Reed, Shirley Dotson, Ann Owens, all of Rutledge; brothers, Sonny Boatman of Alexandria, VA., and Mike Boatman of Rutledge; several nieces and nephews.
