ROYSTON, MARY BREWER, age 72, of Sneedville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 20, 1999 at the Claiborne County Hospital. She was a member of Brewers Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Onie Brewer; infant son; brothers, Grant, Garrett, and Clarence Brewer. Survivors; husband of 55 years, Lono Royston of Sneedville; son, Ronnie Royston of Sneedville; granddaughter, and grandson-in-law, Tammy and Johnny Neeley of Sneedville; brother and sister-in-law, Mack and Wayne Brewer of Seminole, Florida; sisters and brother-in-law, Hattie Hatfield of Sneedville, Jean and Jack Cope of Morristown, TN.; several nieces and nephews. COLLINS, GEORGE HENRY, SR., age 84, of Knoxville, formerly of Rutledge, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 19, 1999 at UT Medical Center. He was a member of New Blackwell Baptist Church in Rutledge. Mr. Collins was preceded in death by wife, Callie Hysel (Peggy Collins); brothers, Lester, L.C., Kyle and Ralph Collins; sisters, Laura Harbin and Erma Lee Mounger. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Glynda and Kenneth Beeler, with whom he made his home; sons and daughters-in-law, G.M. and Celia Collins and Gale and Evelyn Collins; grandchildren and spouses, Gwen and Rick Cameron, Cathy and James Wilson, Audrey and David Hurst and Chris and Cheri Collins; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Cory Atchley, Callie Hurst, Danny and Mathew Collins; sister, Pearl Walters and several nieces, nephews and friends. LAMB, VIRGINIA GRETHEN, age 55, of 2133 Highland St., Middletown, OH., died Saturday, January, 16, 1999 at 7:55 a.m. at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Thorn Hill, TN., April 29, 1943, the daughter of Lester and Maggie Lamb Collins. She was employed by Bethany Carry Out Middletown for 14 years and retired in 1997. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, OH. Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Travis Duncan in 1980 and a grandson, Gage Travis Lamb in 1998. Surviving are husband of 31 years, Calvin; two sons, Doug Lamb and wife Faith of Middletown, James Lamb and wife Kelly of Dayton, OH.; three daughters, Vicki Clemons and husband, Hughie, Rhonda Cunningham and husband Michael and Tina Lamb, all of Middletown; a brother, Fred Collins of Rutledge; six sisters, Julie Fields of Maryville, TN., Kitty Underwood of Middletown, Jeanette Russell of Mooresburg, Dorothy Nealy of Franklin, OH., Helen Carpenter of Middletown and Lola Collins of Greenback, TN.; eight grandchildren; loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. MAYES, MRS. PAUL (ADA RUTH), 84, passed away early Monday morning at the home of her nephew where she had been staying while recuperating from a recent illness. Mrs. Mayes was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morristown and the Quarles Sunday School Class. She had retired from Berkline Office and worked several years at the County Agricultural Office as well as working with her husband in their business. She was the daughter of Jim and Mae Long Noe and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mayes; brothers, Ben and Willard Noe; sister, Cornelia Crigger, nephews, Frank Crigger and Barry Dean Noe and niece, Charlotte Kinsler. Survivors: brother, C.H., and his spouse Mary Edith Noe; nephews, Kenneth Ray, Sr., and his spouse Shelia Noe and their children, Kenneth Ray Jr., Stephanie and Chris; also nephews, Michael E. Noe, Ben Noe Jr., Jake W.
