FERGUSON, ELVA (MAMAW), age 75, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 1999, at home. She was born November 16, 1923, in Hancock Co., Tennessee. She professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rosa Green McDaniel; sisters, Ruby Marion, Bonnie Collins, Mary Etta DePew, and Eva Arnold; brothers, James, Clyde and Lawrence McDaniel. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Terry Seal of Morristown; granddaughter, Kristi Seal of Knoxville and grandson, Craig Seal of Morristown; special friends, Gail Barnard, Carol Cagle and Joyce Kinder; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, January 15, 1999, 1:00 p.m. at Elm Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Parrott and Rev. Steve Gibson officiating. CAREY, WARREN “BRAD,” 41, of Morristown, died suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital on January 4, 1999, after suffering a heart attack. He was a graduate of Morristown-Hamblen High School West and attended Walters State Community College. He was previously employed by Mahle Inc., and Daniel’s Construction Co., and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Morristown. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Thursday in Allen Funeral Home Chapel with interment 2 p.m. Friday in Sunderland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
