Mary Izelia Martin, age 84, of Lenoir City. Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2006. A member of Unity Baptist Church in Powell. She worked for Breezy Wind Company in Knoxville and Richmond Brothers Garment Co. in Cleveland, Ohio. She and her daughter operated Dixie Lee Draperies. Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Willard Martin and son, Steven Paul Martin. Gobrecht, Robert Steven Jr. (Robby), beloved son and brother, age 37 of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 6, 2006 at University Hospital in Cincinnati. Robby was a long time employee of the Kroger Company. He had a deep curiosity and love of the ocean and its inhabitants, and spent many hours reading about it, as well as many other subjects that captured his interest and imagination. Robby enjoyed spending time with his family and listening to music. His is survived by his parents, Steve and Liz Gobrecht and Penny Little Gobrecht; brothers, Adam Gobrecht and Bart Watkins; sister, Beth Watkins; grandmother, Armetta Gobrecht; several aunts and uncles. Miller, John Henry, Jr. - age 50 of Loudon, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2006. He was a nurse at Lakeshore Mental Hospital for 10 years. John loved motorcycles and his pets. Preceded in death by grandparents, B. W. Mink, Susie Mae Mink, Florence Jane Medlin and Pet, Oreo. He is survived by children, John H. Miller III and wife, Jessica of Loudon, Mary E. Miller and fiancee’, William L. Brock of Rockwood, Connie Bagby of Ocean Springs, MS; grandchildren, Justina Miller, Johnathon Miller, Andrea Bagby, Jayden Miller and Alex Brock; parents, John H. Price, Wanda Faye, age 64, of Halls, formerly of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday evening, June 10, 2006. She was a member of Paw Paw Plains Baptist Church and had recently attended Sonlight Baptist Church in Halls. Wanda retired from Fruit of the Loom in Lenoir City. Preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Laura Robinett Price; brothers, Joe Price, Ted Price and Wilke Price; sister, June Price. She is survived by her sisters: Pauline Ward of Knoxville, Violet Graham of Niota, Lestie McCarrell of Lenoir City and Sue Kitts of Halls; brothers: Charlie Price of Sparta, Arley Price and Jamie Price both of Lenoir City, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews including: Alison, Jacob, Joshua, Haley, Hayden, Jennifer and Matthew. Sattler, Darlene Antoinette, age 64, went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 11, 2006 at U.T. Medical Center. Darlene was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her father William Dax and brother, William Dax Jr. Survivors: husband, William Sattler of Florida, daughter, Brenda Benoit of Knoxville, sons, Ralph and Michael Sattler of Florida, mother, Ann Dax of Mt. Prospect, Illinois; grandaughters Kathy and Kimmie Benoit; grandson, Stephen Benoit all of Knoxville; aunt, Lillian Griffin of Florida; special friend, Bernice Stousland of Illinois. Brown, Edwin Littleton, age 82, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Park West Hospital. He was the son of Henry Blakemore Brown and wife, Mayme Elizabeth and was born in Tracy City, Tennessee August 20, 1923. He graduated from Grundy County High School and served three years in the Army Air Corps as a S/Sgt. in the AACS. He attended the University of Tennessee. Mr. Brown spent most of his working years in the hosiery textile industry beginning with Magnet Mills in Clinton becoming Vice-President in charge of sales, then as Vice President and Comptroller with Charles H. Bacon Company in Lenoir City, later under Genesco and then, Fruit of the Loom. He is survived by Helen C. Brown, his loving wife of over 63 years. Both Mr. and Mrs. Brown were always interested in young people of their communities, working with both Boy and Girl Scouts, MYF counselors for middle and high school, age. Both taught Sunday School classes with Mr. Brown teaching college age. He also had great interest in the young people at Holston Home in Greeneville and at the Daniel Arthur Rehab Center in Oak Ridge, serving on Boards of both institutions. In Clinton he served as councilman in city government and enjoyed being one of the first male PTA president. He also served on Scout and church boards. Mr. Brown is survived by children; Terry Brown and wife Jean, daughter, Karen Meredith and husband Robert; grandchildren; Mike Brown of Seattle, WA, David Meredith and wife April who teach English in Japanese schools, S/Sgt. Aaron Meredith and wife Joana, based with the Air Force in South Korea and Jennifer Meredith, third year college student in Georgia. In addition there are two precious great granddaughters, Kayla Meredith and Je'Anne Meredith. The family will receive friends at Click's Farragut Chapel Tuesday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Family and friends will meet at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Harriman at 2 p.m. on Wednesday for graveside services. Weaver, Doyle, age 75, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2006 after a short battle with cancer. He was of the Baptist faith. Doyle retired from Loudon City Police Department. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Army 278th National Guard. Preceded in death by parents, Richard and Susie Weaver; sister, Mary Wajzer; sister-in-law, Essie Mae Weaver. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Jenkins Weaver; children, Doyle “Eddie” Weaver, Jr. and wife, Kandy of Lenoir City and Kimberly Weaver of Open Arms Care Center, Knoxville, granddaughter, Tiffany Weaver Johnson and husband, Michael of Lenoir City; brothers, R. C. Weaver, Avery Weaver and wife, Vi all of Lenoir City; sister, Mae Weaver of Lenoir City; brother-in-law, George R. Jenkins; sister-in-law, Peggy Shubert and husband, Leonard; several nieces and nephews. Sylvia D. Wiggins, age 84, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at her home. She was a member of St. John’s Cathedral in Knoxville for over 60 years. Dee retired from the Social Security Administration and volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital, Senator Gore’s office and her church. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Mayme Wiggins; brothers, R. H. and Calvin Wiggins and sister, Patricia Ann Wiggins. Survived by sisters, Margaret Wiggins and Beryl Wiggins of Lenoir City, Thelma Noe and husband, J. T. of Morristown; brothers, George Wiggins and wife, Joyce, James A. Wiggins and Neal Wiggins all of Lenoir City, John Wiggins and wife, Peggy of Elizabethton; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. Greenley, John W., age 86, of Knoxville, TN, a kind and loving man, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2006 U T Medical Center from complications related to Leukemia. John was born in Wilkesbarre, PA on March 8, 1920 to Jack and Sadie Lloyd Greenley. He served as a Ssgt. with the Army Air Corp in the Pacific Theater during World War II. John retired from Stowers Machinery where he worked as an instructor and technical advisor. He was a man of many interests including woodworking, flying, boating, and had traveled to every state in the continental U S and Alaska with his wife and family. He provided his family with many adventures and precious memories. John was a member of First Christian Church. He was a member of the Knoxville Power Squadron and had taught the engine maintenance class for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Greenley. Survivors: wife of 43 years, Catherine Clower Greenley; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Dr. John Buntin of West Memphis, AR, Dr. Rhonda and Chad Laurain of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, John Jr., Holly and Elaine Buntin, Jack Laurain. Brian Peavley, age 31 of Farragut, TN, formerly of Hazard, KY, went to be with the Lord suddenly Thursday morning, June 15, 2006 at his home. William A. Drerup, age 87, passed away of congestive heart failure, Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at his home in Tellico Village. Formally from Dayton, OH where he retired after 39 years with Delco Moraine as a tool & die maker. He moved to TN a year ago from his home in Pt. Charlotte, FL. Preceded in death by daughter Donna Jean Drerup Meyer, Dayton, OH who passed away last month. Survived by loving wife of 64 years, Isabel, son William J. (Bill) & daughter-in-law, Pat, of Tellico Village; deceased daughter’s husband, Michael Meyer, Dayton, OH; grandsons Eddie, Danny & Kenny Meyer, Dayton, granddaughters Stephanie Fairchild (Don), Diane Knudsen (Patrik), Knoxville; great granddaughters Robbie Meyer (Dayton), & Sydney & Addison Fairchild & Madelyn Knudsen, Knoxville. Louie Campbell Henley, age 85, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Park West Medical Center. Mr. Henley was a member of Tracy City Masonic Lodge and a veteran of W. W. II, having served in the U. S. Army Air Corp. as a crew member on a B-24 Liberator. Mr. Henley graduated from Tennessee Tech University and worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a Radio Chemist and as a Certified Health Physicist. He retired in 1983 after 35 years of service. During his tenure he authored numerous papers related to the field of Health Physics. In his private life, he was an avid amateur aviator and enjoyed reunions with his veteran flight crew members. Preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Lena Tilley Henley; parents, Samuel Hugh Henley and Viola Dishroon Henley; sister, Patsy Henley Gould. Survived by wife, Evelyn Russell Henley; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert L. (Bob) and Vicki Henley of Monterey and William C. (Bill) of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Renee Malekani and husband, Farzan, Brad Henley and wife, Jennette all of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Bryan Henley and wife, Heather of Lexington, KY, Andrew Henley of Monterey; great grandchildren, Sarah Malekani, Michael Dayton Henley, Aleese Henley all of Abbotsford, British Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Andrew Collin Leet, age 22 of Knoxville, passed away suddenly Saturday evening, June 17, 2006 at his home. Andrew graduated with honors from Oak Ridge High School and was an honor student in international economics and political science at the University of Tennessee. His passions in life were the environment and helping others who are less fortunate. Andrew was preceded in death by his uncle, Lanny Falls and grandfather, Carl Falls. McIntosh, Doris June, age 79, of Farragut, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2006. She attended Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill McIntosh along with her parents and her nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Saundra Gillman and husband, Harry of Lenoir City; grandson, Stephen Gillman of Knoxville; granddaughter, Kimberly Turner and husband, Steve of Lenoir City; great grandchildren: Kayla, Kristina and Benjamin; special friends: Shirley Freedman, Gale Reynar and Kay Turner; several nieces and nephews. Barbara June Cline, age 65, of Lenoir City, went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Ft. Loudoun Medical Center. Barbara was a member of Bell Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Mack Cline and Ruby Moss Sherrill; sister, Lucille Barger and brother, Ed Cline. Survived by aunt, Mary Kate Sampson; nephews, Joe Barger and Mickey Cline all of Lenoir City; a host of great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Smith, William E. (Bill), age 83, of Farragut, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away Monday, June 26, 2006 . Bill attended Concord Presbyterian Church. He was a retired master carpenter. Bill was a veteran of World War II serving with the U S Navy aboard the USS Lexington in the Pacific. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed sports. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors: wife of 60 years, Wynona Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Sally Smith all of Farragut; grandchildren, Amy Rainwater, husband, Michael and their son, Kyle of Knoxville; Jill Thomas, husband Chad and their son, Brady of Cookeville. Paul E. Atchley, age 58, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2006 in Rockwood. He was a veteran serving in the U. S. Army with the Military Police. Paul was of the Baptist faith and employed by Stongwell in Lenoir City. He was preceded in death by parents, H.L. And Sue Nicholson Atchley; brother, Howard Atchley. Survived by his wife, Jane Atchley of Lenoir City; children, Michelle Atchley of Lenoir City and Lisa Atchley of Rutledge; grandchildren, Jessica Atchley, Torilyn Nicholson, Dakota Standifer and Jacee Nicholson; sisters, Karen Loy of New Market and Louise Minge of Loudon; uncle, Don Simmons; several nieces and nephews.
