Charles R. (Chuck) Zimmerman, age 78, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 2, 2007 at his home. Chuck was of the protestant faith. He was a charter member and the first president of the Eagles Club #3153 in New Port Richey, FL. Chuck was a shriner, a member of the Kerbela Temple and Scottish Rite bodies, was a former past president of West Knox Shrine and was a mason. Chuck was a veteran of the U S Army. He was an avid golfer and had played in many charity events. He was a ham operator (NZ4O). Chuck leaves behind many golfing friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Zimmerman. Survivors: wife, Sharroan Zimmerman; other loving family, Walt and Jeannie Walters of Knoxville; several other family members in Florida. No memorial services are planned at this time. Walter Trent, age 82, of Lenoir City, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his home. Walter was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of W. W. II serving in the U. S. Army and a retired barber. Walter is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Fuller Trent; sons, Terry Trent of Middletown, OH and Bradley Trent of Columbus, GA; daughter, Patricia Thomas and husband, William of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Eric, Michael, Christopher, and Nathan Trent, Aaron and Tiffany Thomas; brothers, James Trent and wife, Bernadine, George Trent and Logan Trent; sister, Eula Jean Davis; many nieces and nephews. She was a retired LPN working for Dr. Walter Shea and Fort Sanders Hospital for many years. Gladys was a member of the Home Demonstration Club. John W. Richey, age 77, of Farragut, TN, formerly of Kenner, LA and Sherman, MS, went to be with his Lord Thursday evening, May 3, 2007. John was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, and loyal friend. He retired from Gulf Oil/Chevron Corporation after 31 years as a Real Estate executive throughout the Southeast. John was a member of Williams Blvd. Baptist Church, Kenner, LA, where he was actively involved in the John Smith Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mitzi; parents and three brothers. Edna Matlock Garner, age 96, of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007. Edna was a member of Lenoir City Cumberland Presbyterian church. She was preceded in death by husband, John C. Mose Lee Waller Jr., age 87, of Lenoir City, passed away May 5, 2007. Mose was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. He was a graduate of Roane County High School and attended TMI in Sweetwater. In 1942 Mose graduated from Vanderbilt University. He was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Army. Mose retired from the State of Tennessee in 1979 and owned and operated an Insurance Agency in Lenoir City. He was a former member of the Loudon County Commission and was an active member of the Democratic Party. Mose was preceded in death by his son, Mose Lee (Buzz) Waller III; parents, Mose Lee Waller, Sr. and Margaret Whitson Waller; sister, Margaret Jones. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Corum Waller; daughters: Janet DeRidder and husband, Mitchell of Kingston, Washington, Nancy Waller of Nashville, Caroline Proyect and husband, Martin of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Mary Margaret Waller of Nashville. Mary Lee Lynch Haralson, age 91, of Farragut deceased Saturday, May 5, 2007. Mary Lee was a founding member of St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church, Farragut and was a former member of St. James Episcopal Church, Knoxville. She was an accomplished water-colorist and pastel artist. Mary Lee was an extensive world traveler, former president of the South Knoxville Lioness Club and was an avid rose gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John (Jack) Haywood Haralson Jr. of Brownsville, TN, who was a nephew of Emma Bond Haralson, a first cousin of Emma Jane Haralson Gorman, and was a retired attorney and vice president of Valley Fidelity Bank & Trust in Knoxville; parents, Edward Milton Lynch and Bertie Mae Shell Lynch; sister, Edna Mae Lynch Campbell; grandmother, Jennie Hirt Shell, former proprietor of the Shell Hotel in Tazewell, TN; aunt, Lillie Shell Duncan. She was the loving mother of surviving children, John H. Haralson III of Farragut and Mary Janis Haralson of Lexington, KY; granddaughter, Elizabeth Haralson Buchanan of Lexington, KY; brother, James E. Lynch of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. She was employed as an Accounting Associate with KUB from May 24, 1948 to August 31, 1982. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Francis Dunn; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Allen, Charles Rayburn Jr. (Chip), age 54, of Lenoir City, passed away Monday, May 7, 2007 at his home. He was a Christian. Chip was a graduate of Lenoir City High School Class of 1970. He majored in Psychology at the University of Tennessee and was an avid writer. Jack Stanley Baird, age 68, of Lenoir City, passed away Friday morning, May 4, 2007 at his home. Jack was of the Baptist faith. He was a 32nd degree Mason. Jack served in the United States Army as a combat medic and with the Airborne & Special Forces. His tours included United States, Germany and Egypt and various missions worldwide. He was preceded in death by his son, Jack Stanley Baird, Jr.; parents, Otto and Virgie Baird; brother, Curtis Owen Baird and sister, Barbara J. Smith. Jack is survived by his wife of 21 years, Marilyn Baird; son, John W.
