Elmore, Gladys Clark, age 88, of Lenoir City, passed away early Friday morning September 3, 1999 at the Baptist Health Care Center. Gladys was born March 15, 1911 in Sweetwater Tennessee to LeeRoy Clark and Bettie Ann Coffman Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Zenas, Hugh and Lester Clark, sisters; Stella Clark, Irene Krajewski and Eula Laughlin. Gladys was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lenoir City and taught Sunday school for over 50 years. Lezotte, Tim Frank, age 66, of the Tellico Village Community, Loudon, formerly of Dearborn, Michigan, passed away Saturday, September 4, 1999 at the Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center. Tim retired from the Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service and moved to Tennessee in 1997. An avid sailor for 45 years. A member of the Dearborn Power Squadron and the Ford Yacht Club. He volunteered for Habitat of Humanity in Loudon County. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Alice Katherine Lezotte. Tom was born in Mountain Iron Minnesota and had been a resident of Ft. Lauderdale for 26 years. He was a licensed General Contractor and owner of T & D Steel Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale. Blackmon, Howard A. Sr., age 87, longtime resident of Fountain City, who had resided in Lenoir City for the past 13 years, passed away Monday afternoon September 13, 1999 at Park West Hospital. Howard celebrated his 75th year as a member of Second United Methodist Church on Nov. 25, 1998. He was a member of Masters Lodge 244 F&AM, a former member of Bright Hope Lodge 557 F&AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies and was a member of Kerbela Temple. Howard was retired from Southern Railway with 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 48 years and the mother of his children, Margaret Lois Wardrep and his second wife, Margaret Ellen Atchley. Dillard, Myrtle Dorminey Caldwell, age 95, of Lenoir City, Tennessee, formerly of Birmingham Alabama, passed away early Sunday morning September 26, 1999 at the Loudon Health Care Center in Loudon TN Myrtle was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lenoir City and the East Lake Chapter #258 of the Eastern Star in Birmingham. Survivors: daughter, Hope Cox of Lenoir City. Grandsons, Randy, Tommy and Douglas Cox. 2 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 P.M. Sowards, Eva Jo Wyrick, age 70, of 801 West Fourth Avenue, Lenoir City, went home to be with Jesus Sunday morning September 26, 1999 at Loudon Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.
