Perkey, Anna Climer, age 93, of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday morning, October 7, 2001. Anna was reared in the Methodist Church and later joined the Baptist Church with her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Perkey and her parents, James F. and Elizabeth Killan Climer, three sisters and two brothers. She was the last surviving child in her family. Anna is survived by her son, Donald Perkey and wife, Caroline of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. Wells, Bobby Gerald (First Sgt. Ret. U. S. Army) age 52 of Lenoir City passed away Monday morning, October 8, 2001 at the Baptist Hospital. He was retired from U. S. Army after 22 years service and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Bobby was a member of the American Legion Loudon Post #120. Preceded in death by brothers, Joe Wells and Jack Wells. Survived by wife of 25 years, Peggy Glass Wells; daughter, India Wells Eldridge; son, Bobby J. Wells; grandson, Keelan Eldridge; mother, Dora Wells; sister, Zelma Wells; brothers, Kenneth Wells and James Wells all of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. Hubble, Joel Marvin, age 62, of Santa Maria, California, passed away October 12, 2001, after a long illness. Joel and his father were owners of Hubble Construction Company in Santa Maria for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines serving in Okinawa, Japan. Joel was an avid golfer and was known for his barbeque. Davis, Mary Evelyn Lovelace, Age 73 of 13112 Lovelace Road, Knoxville, went home to heaven Friday, October 19, 2001. Evelyn’s life long love for music began at an early age. She was a pianist at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at Hickory Creek at the age of 8 years old. She was very active with different musical groups playing piano at Hardin Valley Fire Hall, Arbor Terrace assisted living, Rocky Branch Community Center and local nursing homes, as well as numerous weddings and funerals. She was currently the pianist at Silver Ridge Baptist Church since 1985, also serving as youth choir pianist. Evelyn was retired from Scovill Manufacturing Co. And ORGDP K-25. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil B. and Ollie Mae Lovelace and brother James V. Lovelace. She is survived by daughters and their husbands, Charlotte (Peanut) and Jack Schaefer, Sherry and Lewis Hall and Lisa Davis and Darrell Barnett; sons, Stanley Davis, Mike and wife Carolyn Davis, and Richard (Ricky) Davis; sisters, Nora Jane Hudson, Barbara Ann and husband Arlen Hackett of Vancouver, Wash; brother, Frank and wife Iva Lovelace; grandchildren, Jimmy Owens, Crystal Wilkerson, Tracy Schaefer, Steven Davis and wife Misty, Justin Davis, Mindy Davis, Casey Davis, David Hall, Jason Hall and wife Angie and Krystina Davis. Krausser, Flo Mabelle (Cottrell), age 69, of Lenoir City, TN., formerly of Lindenhurst, IL and Salem, WI., passed away Wednesday, October 17,2001 at the Farragut Health Care Center in Knoxville, TN. She was of the Methodist Faith. Flo was retired from The College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois. After retirement, she and her husband moved to Tennessee where she worked part time at The Fresh Market in Farragut. She loved to play Bingo with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Hugh Barnette and Velma Hayes Cottrell. He was an avid golfer, Drag Race fan and was a race car owner. Tommy managed 411 Dragway for 5 years. He was preceded in death by his father, W. T. Thurmer; nephew, Jeremy Cass. Baldani, Phyllis Jean, age 70, (308 Tanasi Point) Tellico Village Community, Loudon, Tennessee passed away, Tuesday, October 23, 2001. She was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and graduated from the Rhode Island College of Education. She lived in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, Big Flats, New York, Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and Corning, New York prior to moving to Tennessee. Phyllis loved to travel and was an avid gourmet cook. She attended cooking schools in Florence, Italy, Bangkok, Thailand, Santa Fe, New Mexico and at The Greenbrier in West Virginia and traveled extensively in Mexico and Europe. Her gourmet dinners were a feature item at the annual auction in support of the Tellico Village Library. Among her joys was her special affection for her cats. Phyllis was a loving, and beloved, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert E. Baldani; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey Baldani and Ulla Grapard of Hamilton, New York, Russell and Julie Baldani of Lexington, Kentucky; daughters and sons-in-law, Cathleen and Kenneth Terry of Lexington, Kentucky, Lisa and Michael Hansel of Newport, Rhode Island, Roslyn and Kevin Jones of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren, Luke Baldani, Christopher Baldani, Shannon and Ryan Terry, Casey and Amanda Hansel, and Jessica Jones. He was the former co- owner and operator of Quality Printers in Lenoir City. A veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. A member of the Highland Park Ruitan Club. He was retired from the DOE AEC as a Quality Assurance Inspector at Y-12. A 50 year member of Avery Lodge 593 F & AM and Scottish Rite. Jack was a veteran of W. W. II where he served in the Army Air Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. and Elizabeth Bogart Miller; special cousin, Peggy Lacy. Daugherty, Perry Clifford, passed away November 1, 2000 at Baptist Hospital. He was born in Covington, Georgia 79 years ago . He was the eldest son of Mattie L. and Clifford Daugherty of Atlanta. Perry was a sincere career teacher and civic leader. He worked in several colleges beginning at Miles College, Prairie View A&M, Morgan State, and finally retired from Knoxville College after 15 years of service. He leaves a wife, Melba G. Daugherty, a devoted daughter, Shaun Daugherty, two grandsons, Taylor and Jake Elliott who he dearly loved and cared for. A sister, Mildred Rodgers of Atlanta, two nieces, Janice Johnson and Beverly Range and six nephews, David Rodgers, Julius Daugherty, Jr., Donald Daugherty, Grayland Daugherty, Gardner Daugherty, and Elwyn Daugherty. Perry was preceded in death by his brother, Julius Daugherty, Sr. Perry has touched the lives of many students and co-workers, friends and relatives throughout his life. Mills, Sallie Lou Moore, age 84, of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday evening, November 5, 2000, at the Baptist Health Care Center. Sallie was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was retired from Charles H. Bacon. Sallie was preceded in death by her husband, Quintus S. Mills; granddaughter, Kathy Mills; brothers, Martin, Thomas, Dee and Ralph Moore; sisters, Vola Clayton, Ella May Moore, Nell Roberts, Eva Lee Arden and Fonnah Marie Clark. survivors: sons, Charles Edward Mills, Jack Leroy Mills and Bobby Ray Mills; daughter-in-law, Betty Veal Mills; grandchildren, Charles Edwards Mills Jr., Michael Mills, Annette Warmack, Stacy Claybough, Tracy Pace, Victor Mills, Vanessa Gwin and Anna Redsecker; 10 great grandchildren. Snodderly, George L. (Bacie) age 50 of Lenoir City passed away Wednesday morning, November 8, 2000 at the Park West Hospital. He was a former brick mason. Bacie was of the Baptist faith. A veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the V. F. W. Post #5156 in Sweetwater. He was preceded in death by his parents, George S. and Ruby Mills Snodderly. Bacie is survived by his three daughters: Corp. Brandy Snodderly of Camp Pendleton, Ca., Bobbie Jo Kagley and husband Billy of Lenoir City, Brigitte Snodderly of Lenoir City; 4 grandchildren; Sisters, Mae Bledsoe and husband Kenneth of Etowah, Carol Peters and husband Wayne of Lenoir City; brother, David Snodderly and wife Sharon of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews; special friend and the mother of his children, Becky Hubbard of Loudon.
