Patrizio, Charles Edward (Chick), age 49 of Lenoir City, passed away early Wednesday morning, November 15, 2000, at his home. Chick was retired from Nippondenso. He was an avid photographer with a special interest in photography of Appalachia. Chick was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Alice McAmis Patrizio. Fisher, Viola Elizabeth Clark, age 82, of Greenback passed away Thursday, November 16, 2000 at her home. She was a member of Axley’s Chapel United Methodist Church. A former employee of Blount Memorial Hospital working in the Food Services Department. Viola also took time to sit with babies and elderly in the community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. and Sue Clark; brother, Roy Clark. She was preceded in death by a son, Henry Ray Cook and parents, James Hurley and Abbie Hughes Wyrick. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Wm. Shults, Ralph, age 71, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday morning at the Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He attended the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Viskase. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He was on the Board of Directors for the U.C. Employee Credit Union. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 120 in Loudon, V.F.W. Post No. 156 in Sweetwater. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bedford and Relda Shults; brothers, Harold, Elmerson and Carl Shults; sister, Marie Shults; step-son, Jerry Hamilton. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Faye Shults; step-children: Darlene Powers and husband Gaston, Nina Hamilton, Teresa Barton and husband Kevin, Darrell Hamilton and wife Jo Ann and Bobby Hamilton, all of Lenoir City. Bell, James Orbia (J.0.), Age 87 of Lenoir City, Passed away Friday, November 25, 2000 in Cocoa Beach, Florida after a brief illness. He was a member of the Lenoir City Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was born in Apison, James County, Tennessee and graduated from Ootlewah High School and Coyne Electrical Institute. He was a retired electrician who participated in projects in the U.S.A. as well as in New Zealand. J.O. was a 55 year member of the Avery Masonic Lodge No. 593 F. & A.M. and the Kerbela Temple A.A.O.N.S. of Knoxville. He was a 60 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 175 in Chattanooga. In 1976, J.O. and his wife Betty, renovated and moved into her childhood home in the Historic District of Lenoir City. He was preceded in death by His wife, Elizabeth Bacon (Betty) Bell; His brother, J.C. (Jack) Bell; and his sister, Blanche Bise. He is survived by his sister, Ann Romines of Deland, Fla.; His son and daughter-in-law, James Bacon (Jimmy) Bell and Camille M. Bell of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; His daughter and son-in-law, Betsy Anne and Richard Davis of Lenoir City; Grandchildren, Samantha Noel Bell of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; Miles T. Davis, Abbie E. Wanda was the Nursing Supervisor at Housecall Health Care in Madisonville TN and prior to that she was Director of Nursing at East Ridge Community Hospital in Chattanooga. She also worked as a Registered Nurse at Tri County Hutchison Memorial Hospital in Ft. Oglethorpe GA. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Carroll, Ronald R. age 47 formerly of Savannah passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2000 at the U. T. Medical Center. He owned and operated his own business serving the coffee industry worldwide. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U. S. Marine Corps. Ronald formerly attended Southside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Carroll. Survived by his wife, Barbara DuBois of Niota, TN.; mother, Doris Carroll of Savannah; twin brother, Donald Carroll of Savannah; sister, Teresa Smith of Savannah; nephews, Jeremy Smith, Jon L. Craddock, John H. Jr., age 61, of Loudon passed away Thursday evening, November 1, 2001 at the Ft. Sanders Loudon Medical Center. He was preceded in death by wife, Alice Robbins. Survived by daughters and son-in-law, Robin and Tom Johnson of Loudon, Renee Brown of Lenoir City; step-children, Rita Davis of Harriman, James Robbins of Michigan, Wayne Robbins of North Carolina, Bryan Robbins of Michigan, Beth Hall of Virginia; brother, Michael Beach of Michigan; and several grandchildren. Gregory, Donald Chris, Jr., age 37 of Knoxville, formerly of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away Friday evening November 2, 2001, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tn, after a lengthy battle with a brain tumor. Chris was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Lenoir City. He was an Automotive Technician in Indiana and Knoxville. Chris was an avid dirt track race car driver and Dale Earnhardt collector. He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Ileene Hardin; paternal grandfather, Wilford Gregory; nephew Kolton Ashcraft-O'Neal. He is survived by 3 Daughters, Kassie Gregory, Karrie Gregory and Kylah Gregory all of Knoxville; parents, Martha and Calvin Hickey of Knoxville; Don Gregory of Flat Rock, Indiana; brother; Brian Gregory and wife Debbie of Rising Sun, Indiana; sisters, Lori McHenry and husband Jeff of Rising Sun, Indiana, Robbie Ashcraft and husband Rodney, and Marcie Welch and Husband Steve all of Knoxville; paternal grandmother, Mary Gregory; maternal grandfather, Rumsey Hardin; special grandparents, Bill and Dora Hickey; several nieces, nephews, great niece and aunts and uncles. Williams, Mark Allan, age 37, of Knoxville, formerly of Lenoir City, passed away early Saturday morning November 3, 2001 at U. T. Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Mark was a member of First Baptist Church of Lenoir City. He was a graduate of East Tennessee State University with an MBA. Mark was Manager Contracts and Controls Associate with T N and Associates. He was President of the National Contract Management Association. Survivors: son, Cameron Lee Williams; mother of his son, Paige Williams both of Knoxville; parents, Glenn and Judy Williams of Lenoir City; sisters, Julie Russell, Jill Underwood and husband Allen all of Knoxville; grandmother, Edna Owens of Harriman; special niece, Emily Underwood. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Lenoir City with Rev. Dick DeMerchant and Dr. C.E.Jackson III officiating. Patterson, Celia Mary Johnson, age 42, passed away Saturday evening, November 3, 2001, at Candler Hospital in Savannah, Ga. She was a native of Lenoir City, Tn. and was residing in Pembroke, Ga. She was a member of Pembroke Christian Church. Celia was the daughter of the late Willis and Lillian Bandy Johnson from Lenoir City. She is survived by two brothers and five sisters: Willis Johnson of Lenoir City, Sam Johnson of Ider, Al., Beulah Wright of Pembroke, Ga., Bettye Williams of Cypress, Ca., Pat Robinson of Screven, Ga., Selina Kellar of Lenoir City, and Carol Morrison of Ocoee, Tn.
