Guinn, Emma Jean "Kelly", age 75, of Palm Harbor, FL passed away suddenly, Monday, December 8, 2003 in Knoxville, TN while visiting her new great-granddaughter. Kelly was very devoted to her family. She recently retired from Pinellas County Schools where she worked for 18 years with severely emotionally disturbed children. Kelly and her husband moved from Lawrenceville, IL to St. Petersburg, FL in 1954. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Paul Guinn; and her sister, Joyce Hensley . She will be greatly missed by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jody Guinn Mackay and Donald M. Renfro, Sandra Pope, age 63, of Harriman and more recently of West Knoxville, passed away Saturday morning, December 6, 2003 at her home. Sandra was a member of MENSA. She was a former financial officer in New Orleans, LA. Sandra was a graduate of Loyola University magna cum laude. She loved to read and enjoyed Genealogy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Pope and Frankie Wright Pope; brother, Ronald Gary Pope. Sleeper, Christopher Kent, age 47, of Farragut went home December 7, 2003. Chris worked with Weskem/Alliant of Oak Ridge. He enjoyed his children, baseball and golf. Lockwood, Rev. Bobby, age 50, of Farragut, formerly of Chattanooga, went to be with the Lord suddenly on December 10, 2003 at his home. Bobby was pastor of Friendship Baptist Church. He was formerly the Children's Director at First Baptist Concord. Bobby was a friend to all and touched the lives of all he knew through his ministry. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and son. Campbell, Robert J., age 79, of Lenoir City, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospice, Halls. He fought a courageous fight with cancer. Bob was a member of Dixie Lee Baptist Church. He worked 42 years at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge and had delivered flowers for West Knox Florist for the last several years. He ushered at University of Tennessee ball games for 15 years. He was preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Alice Campbell, and sister, Ruth Campbell. Survived by his faithful wife of 61 ½ years, Alvah M. Campbell; brothers, Paul Campbell and wife, Bonnie, Roy Campbell and wife, Clara Lou, Earl Campbell and wife, Wanda; sister, Gladys Campbell; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Kinkaid, Lawrence E. (Larry), age 78, of Lenoir City, passed away Monday, December 15, 2003 at the U. T. Medical Center. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. A veteran of W. W. II serving in the South Pacific with the U. S. Navy. Larry retired from Y-12, Oak Ridge. He was a former member of Jaycee's. A former teacher and basketball coach at Lenoir City High School. Larry was an avid golfer. Preceded in death by his father, Buhl Kinkaid; mother, Frances Whitaker Kinkaid and brother, Glenn Kinkaid. Mitchell, Nathan Scott, age 31, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on December 17, 2003. Nathan was a musician, artist, and poet. He was a bass guitar player with the rock group Mustard, and an accomplished chef. Nathan was a 1990 graduate of Farragut High School and attended the University of Tennessee. His passions included being with his family, playing guitar, jazz, film making, photography and poetry. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fredric E. and Elizabeth B. Hucks, Milton S. Mitchell. Survived by his father and step mother, Michael J. and Georgette H. Mitchell ; his mother, Denise E. Hucks; his brothers, Robert S. Mitchell and Matthew P. Mitchell; his sisters, Brooke A. Martin, Deirdre Lee, age 46, passed away, on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at Baptist Hospital, from a heart attack. Survivors include her children; Glenn, Jennifer, Falcon and their father Thomas LaBorde, her daughter Andrea Martin, her twin brothers Craig and Drew, and mother Audrey Martin. She was preceded in death by her father James Martin and son Richard Garcia. Deedee will also be missed by many other friends and family members whose lives she touched along her journey. McCollum, Charles Homer, age 64, of Friendsville, TN, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2003. Charles was born September 27, 1939, in Loudon County to Cecil and Tennie Keaton McCollum. He was a member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church in Maryville and a former member of Friendsville Planning Commission and Friendsville City Council. Charles retired from Lockheed Martin in Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, James Long of Friendsville. Survived by his wife of forty-two years, Joyce Long McCollum; daughters, Kathy Brashears and husband, Richard of Lexington, KY, Karen Kirk and husband, Jerry of Powell, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, H.C. and Delores McCollum of Friendsville, Richard and Eve McCollum of Shalimar, FL; mother-in-law, Kathleen Hammontree Long of Friendsville, TN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marion and Butch Stinnett of Lenoir City; special cousins, Scotty and Aileen Long of Lenoir City; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5-6:45 p.m. Monday followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Coates of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church and Rev. Tim Carter of Friends Church will officiate. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Hickory Valley Cemetery for graveside services and interment with Rev. Coates and Rev. Rick Sandlin officiating. Pallbearers will be: Mike Shepherd, Jake Peters, Sam Chapman, Bill Palmer, Carroll Cates, Brad and Jimmy Stinnett; Honorary Pallbearers will be: Scotty Long, Johnny Coffey, Ray Ahl and Gus Johnson.
