Propes, M. Brent, age 41, of West Knoxville died early Sunday morning December 21, 2003 at U. T. Medical Center. Brent was an employee of Sun Rise Ridge Resort in Pigeon Forge. He attended First Baptist Concord. Brent was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was a devoted husband, father and son. A veteran of the U. S. Army. Tate, Lena (Comer), age 82, of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2003, at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a member of Paw Paw Plains Baptist Church. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Martha Ford Comer of LaFollette. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Nile Tate of Lenoir City and several siblings: brothers, Maynard, Sib and George Comer of LaFollette and, Frank Comer of Lenoir City; sisters, Ethel Comer, Mrs. Howard (Grace) Brantly, Mrs. Clayton (Ruth) Wilson of LaFollette, and Mrs. Leonard (Mary) Loveday of Lake City. McCrary, Prudance "Ruth", age 58, of Hanna City, Illinois formerly of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2003, in Peoria. Ruth worked at K. L. Burgets in Peoria and then was a self employed beautician for over 20 years in the Bartonville area. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Martin McFalls and Pruda (Isbill) McFalls and her brothers, Joe and Samuel McFalls. She is survived by her husband, Harley McCrary; daughter, Sonja McCrary of Hobbs, New Mexico; and brother, Marvin McFalls and wife, Francine of Kingston. Borden, Eric Wayne (Sims) age 25 of the Hardin Valley Community, Knoxville, passed away suddenly Wednesday afternoon, December 24, 2003 in an automobile accident. Bell, Larry D., age 46, of West Knoxville, formerly of Chattanooga, went to be with Jesus Friday evening, December 26, 2003 at East Tennessee Baptist Medical Center. Larry was a member of First Baptist Concord, actively involved in drama, clown ministry, he was a deacon and a Sunday School teacher. He performed in several drama roles including "A Concord Christmas" and with Word Players. He was a former member of Bayside Baptist Church in Chattanooga. Larry earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Bryan College in 1981 and an Associates Degree in Nursing from San Antonio School of Nursing in 1988. He was an employee of Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee as a home health nurse. Larry was a board member of Bethany Christian Services and was vice president of the Tennessee Legal Nurse Consultants based in Chattanooga. He had taught medical seminars for Lorman Educational Services, as well as being a certified Safety and CPR instructor. He is survived by his cherished wife of nine and a half years, Lora Ziemer Bell; chosen and treasured children, Jennifer Annette, age 6, and Daniel Timothy, age 3; parents, Dr. Bobby and Betty Bell of Mifflintown, PA; sister, Valeria Wilkins of Lewisburg, PA; parents-in-law, Robert and Barbara Ziemer of Hudson, FL. Pruitt, Nellie Iona Bolt, age 94, of Lenoir City, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2003, at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Pruitt was a lifelong resident of Lenoir City where she and her husband managed a branch of Farragut Cleaners on B Street for several years. She was also a devoted member of Hensley Chapel Primitive Baptist Church for the past 81 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. (Jim) Pruitt; parents, Robert Oscar (Sr.) And Lora Ryan Bolt; sister, Dortha June Bolt; brother, Robert Oscar Bolt, Jr. son-in-law, J. T. Kilby; and special grandson, James Robert Wiggins. Hospital due to heart failure and respiratory failure as a result of the flu. He served with the U. S. Air Force. An Aircraft Mechanic, Geoffrey was an avid Recreational Pilot and was retired from his own Avionics Business. He was also an A. I. and instructor. Chaney, Thomas Sherman (Tom), age 75, of Lenoir City, TN, formerly of Waynesville, OH and Centerville, OH, went to be with the Lord on his birthday, Tuesday evening, December 30, 2003 at his home. Tom was a member of Northshore Fellowship Church of God. He was retired from General Motors Frigidaire Division in Dayton, OH after 31 years of service. Viars, Clarence Ruben, age 90, of Lenoir City, passed away Thursday evening, December 31, 2003, at the Ft. Sanders Loudon Medical Center. Clarence was of the Baptist Faith. A veteran of World War II serving as a military cook in the Air Force, he later retired from the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs. Preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Mary Viars, parents, Hardin and Mirah Watson Viars; brother, Ben Viars; sister, Frances Terry; niece, Teresa Terry; nephew, William C. (Bill) Brown. He is survived by his sister, Kathryn Brown along with three nieces and four nephews. Harmon, Dorothy L. Wilson, age 76, of Lenoir City, passed away Thursday morning, December 2, 2004 at Loudon Health Care Center. She was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by husband, Ed Harmon; parents, Joe R. and Anna Mae Wilson; brother, Charles Wilson, sister, Ruby Wilson; brothers-in-law, T. C. Clark and Jim Little; sister-in-law, Linda Wilson and special nephew, Gary Dewayne Wilson (July 18, 2004). Survived by sisters, Barbara Little of Lenoir City and Nell Clark of York, S.C.; brothers, Kenneth (Shot) Wilson and wife, Sharen, James (Jimmy) Wilson all of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews including special nieces, Tammy Wilson, Mae Collins and Patricia McConkey. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Ronny Jones and Rev. Frankie Parris officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for 2 p.m. graveside services. Pace, Billy D., age 69, of Lenoir City, passed away early Friday morning, December 3, 2004 at ParkWest Hospital. Survivors: wife of 43 years, Dottie Pace; daughters and sons-in-law, Candy Pace, Denise and Paul Kampwerth, Stephanie and Preston New, Pamela and Kevin Glenn; grandsons, Kellen Glenn and William New; brothers, Hayden Pace, Tommy Pace, Donald Pace, Jerry Pace, Reginald Pace, Jimmy Pace and Mark Pace; sisters, Benda Helton and Diane Bell; several nieces and nephews.
