Jane Anne Hanson Boyd, age 70, of Concord Hills Farragut, TN, formerly of Greeneville, TN, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 22, 2005 at Baptist Hospital West, after a long battle with cancer. Jane was born November 5, 1935 in Lebanon, VA, daughter of the late Albert Bragg Hanson and Janie Ketron Hanson. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Greeneville for many years and was currently a member of Concord United Methodist Church in Farragut. Jane was a retired teacher from the Greeneville City School System. Survivors: husband, Billy Boyd; daughter, Catherine Boyd Shope; grandsons, Brandon Boyd Shope and Bryan Blake Shope all of Knoxville, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Fox of Greer, SC, Frances and Jimmy Gregory of Lebanon, VA; sister-in-law, Nancy Clevinger of Lebanon, VA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cecil was a member of Lenoir City Lion’s Club. He was a former employee of Yale Security and retired from K-25 in Oak Ridge. Elizabeth was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Local Chapter #188. She was a former employee of S & H Green Stamp Store in Knoxville. Elizabeth was an avid gardener who had a love for roses and other flowers. She loved to research family genealogy. Preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Bird Tate and Martha Clementine Ridge with whom she made her childhood home; parents, Charles D. Tate and Sammie E. Hickman, Gene Edward, age 67, of Lenoir City, passed away Friday, December 23, 2005 at his home. Gene was a member of Nelson Street Baptist Church and Fenders Antique Tractor and Engine Club. He retired in the early 1980's from Union Local #3 of Knoxville where he was a brick and block mason and from Loudon County Maintenance Dept. in 2000. Mire, Robert Allen Shine “Beau”, age 24, of Tellico Village Community, Loudon, passed away early Wednesday, December 28, 2005. He was a 2000 graduate of Loudon High School. Beau was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and the ROTC. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Shine and Ethel Mire; cousin, Laura Mire Dorsa. Lyon, Willie Sue, age 78, of Lenoir City, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2005, at Park west Hospital. Sue was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She retired from Genesco where she worked at the front office as a receptionist. Sue was a wonderful caring person who enjoyed friends and loved animals. She loved having friends in her home during the Holiday’s, she had more fun doing this every year. Sue loved her yard and her flowers. She always had a smile for everyone. She loved people and everybody loved her. Preceded in death by husband, J. W. Lyon; parents, Center and Mae Norman; sisters, Verna Pesterfield and Grace Buck; brothers, Virgil, Earl and Paul Harvey. Taylor Thomas Morgan, age 84, of Knoxville, passed away early Friday morning, December 30, 2005 at Park West Hospital. Tom was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service with 30 years of government service. Tom was a highly decorated veteran of World War II serving with the 78th Infantry Division in the European Theater. He was a Tsgt. and the recipient of the EAME Theater Ribbon with 3 bronze stars and the bronze star. Tom was a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor Harrison Morgan and Carmi Adel Boswell Morgan; brothers, Jasper W. Morgan, Gene Boswell Morgan and Jerry Andrew Morgan. Eblen, Dorothy Grace Masters Cook, age 93, of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday morning, December 3, 2006, at her home. Grace was the oldest living member of Lenoir City Church of Christ, where she was a Sunday School teacher and the oldest living member of the Loudon County Democrat Club. She was also active in 4-H Club, Clionian Club, Loudon County Cancer Society, Tennessee Cattleman’s Association, and Home Demonstration Club. She was involved with activities at Baptist Health Care Center for 35 years and served on the Loudon County Agricultural Committee. She also taught school in the Loudon County School System and worked at Oak Ridge all while being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gypsy Masters; husbands, Cowden Cook and James Eblen; infant daughter, Jo Ann Cook; grandson, Donald Cook; brothers: Dan Masters, Bill Masters, Clay Masters, Charles Masters, David Masters; sister, Docia Sloan; sister-in-law, Ruth Eblen Gaut; daughter-in-law, Beverly Cook. Phillip Deewayne (Dee) Seiber, age 70, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006. Dee was employed with West Knox Utility, where he retired as an inspector. He was an avid musician, and loved to play his guitar as a valued member of the Hardin Valley Community, playing regularly at the Fire Hall. In his younger days, Dee loved to coon hunt and play softball. He was preceded in death by his father of the same name and mother, Mayme Raby Seiber and sister, Jean Yarnell. Survivors: son, Don Seiber of Knoxville; daughter, Jeanette Seiber-Stone of Sweetwater; granddaughters, Larissa and Tanika; mother of his children, Pat Seiber; twin brother, Fred Seiber of Friendsville; numerous other brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. John Richard Lundgren, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of East Longmeadow, MA, and Lantana, FL, passed away Sunday evening, December 3, 2006 at Park West Hospital. John was owner of Northeast Supply before his retirement. He was the loving husband of Phyllis Grace Lundgren for 66 years before her death in 2004. John was a member of Charles C. Spellman Lodge F#AM in East Longmeadow, a 33 Degree Mason and was Past Potentate of Melha Shrine Temple in Springfield, MA. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Elizabeth Zarecki and Ruth Anne Killam. Survivors include his children: J. Riggle, Charles Harold, age 86, of Signal Mountain, passed away Thursday December 7, 2006 at the Alexian Health Care Center in Signal Mountain. He was born October 21, 1920 in Crockett, VA., was raised in Lenoir City, TN and lived in the Knoxville area for many years. He worked in sales of construction and industrial equipment in Chattanooga and Knoxville. Charles was a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, and he served as an elder in the Preybsterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Ruth Eubanks Riggle and sister Janie Powell. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Juanita Wiggins Riggle of Signal Mountain, TN.; 2 daughters, Suzanne Riggle of Signal Mountain, TN and Rebecca Painter and husband Alan of Raleigh, NC.; 2 grandsons, Andrew and Steve Painter; brother, Tom Riggle of Lenoir City, TN.; several nieces and nephews. Helen Louise Hogan, age 82, of Lenoir City, formerly of Oak Ridge and Princeton, KY passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at her home after losing a brief battle with cancer. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Oak Ridge. Helen retired from the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge with 40 years service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Lora Hogan; sister, Edith Gentry and brother, L. J. Hogan. Survived by her daughter, Joy Louise Craig; brothers, Sam Hogan of Princeton, KY and James Hogan of Henderson, KY; brother-in-law, A. J. Gentry; nephews, Paul Gentry and wife, Melody of Lenoir City, Steve Hogan of Paducah, KY; nieces, Susan Thomas and husband, Stanley of Lenoir City, Sherry Hobby and husband, Cecil of Dallas, TX; several other nieces and nephews. Friends may call at their convenience at Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. Saturday and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for a 2 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Bill Wagner officiating.
