Leal, Gay Letona, age 76, of Loudon, passed away Monday, January 24, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Leal; father, Charles Berry; mother, Gladys Ogle and sister, Joy Larson. She is survived by her six daughters: Linda Rommell, Mary Cowans, Jeannie Carpenter, Martha Fowler Armstrong, Opal Webb with whom she made her home, and Belinda Stevens; grandchildren: Lorene Keffer, Jackie, Jimmy, Shelley, Margo, Jennifer, David, Jeff and Joshua; several great grandchildren; brother, Jake Berry along with several nieces and nephews. Eblen, Eula Hope Green, age 97, of 846 New Midway Road, Kingston, passed away Monday, January 24, 2005 at her home. She was born November 30, 1907 in Roane Co. Eula was a member of Bradbury United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Kaney Smith Eblen; parents, James A. and Addie Wright Green; sister, Erma Pickel; brothers, Earl Green and Emory Green; sons, Robert Eblen and John Eblen; daughter-in-law, Della Bales Eblen; son-in-law, Artie Crowe; grandsons, Billy Knight and Kenny Knight. Survived by daughters, Helen Crowe of Kingston and Frances Hutson of Kodak; sons, Roy Eblen and wife, Norma of Maryville, Raymond Eblen and wife, Faye of Kingston, James Eblen and wife, Lois of Halls; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give their many thanks to Adventa Hospice. Kopkau, Arthur Carl Jr., age 80, of Lenoir City, died Thursday morning, January 27, 2005 at Farragut Health Care Center. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Carl Kopkau Sr. and Frances Gibson Kopkau and son-in-law, Anthony Galko. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Arlene Faye Neal Kopkau; children, Arthur Carl Kopkau III and wife Ruth of Hot Springs, AK, Jon E. Kopkau and wife Toni of Farragut, Mary Galko of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren, Allison, Cord, Auburn, Kimberly, Michele, Brian, Susan, David and Erin; great grandchildren, Hannah, Jeremy, Conor, Jayson and Alexandra; brother, Clair Kopkau of MI. Fritz - Clara Elizabeth Wagner, age 97, of Tellico Village, Loudon, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Loudon Health Care Center. Clara E. Wagner was born in Lyons, New York on October 26, 1907. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Frances Wagner; her husband of 63 years, Ira Transue Fritz; 2 brothers and 2 sisters all from New York. Mrs. Fritz had resided in Port Charlotte, FL for the past 30 years but in 2003 moved to “the neighborhood” in Tellico Village to be near twin children, Gerald E. Fritz and wife, Rita and Joanne F. Kuhn and husband, Eugene both of Tellico Village. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a newly born great great grandchild. Mrs. Fritz was an avid gardener, golfer, bowler and painter until the age of 89. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 30th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with Rev. Jazwiecki, Katherine, K. (Kay), of the Tellico Village Community, Loudon, TN formerly of Toledo, OH passed away Friday, January 28, 2005 at her home. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. A member of the Tellico Village Polish Heritage Club, Tellico Village Car Club and Tellico Riders MC. Katherine was formerly employed as a nuclear security guard at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station in Ohio. Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Helen Michalak and son Christopher Jazwiecki. Survived by her husband of 36 years, David Jazwiecki; children, Terry Skiba, Gene Belinske, Linda Belinske and Diane Faris; grandchildren, Kristy Weaver, Kelly Skiba, Dalton Belinske and Grayden Faris. Wilkerson, Millard Nile Sr., age 86, of Lenoir City, passed away Monday, January 31, 2005 at Farragut Health Care Center. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in World War II. A member of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Millard was a member of Avery Masonic Lodge #593 F & AM, Scottish Rite and Kerbela Temple. He was retired from Y-12, Oak Ridge where he worked as a security guard for over 30 years. Preceded in death by first wife, Eula Wilkerson and second wife, Vola Wilkerson; parents, Edd and Sallie Wilkerson; sister, Nina Giles; brothers: Leonard Raymond and Robert Lynn Wilkerson. Survived by son, Millard N. Wilkerson Jr. and wife, Sue; grandsons, Ed Wilkerson and wife, Lori, Eric Wilkerson and wife, Leigh Ann all of Lenoir City; half sister, Marge and half brother, Kenneth Paul Wilkerson; nieces, Thelma Brown and Betty Hughes. H. and Dossie Weaver Amos. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Stalyon. Survived by her daughter, Bobbie S. Davis, Houston Lee, age 22, of Knoxville, passed away January 6, 2006 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith, having been saved at Concord Baptist Church during Bible School as a child. Houston was an EMT with Rural Metro, and he dearly loved his work and his co-workers. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Doyle Lee Davis and Charles Frank Hawkins. Melba was a founding member of the Levy Church of Christ in North Little Rock,AR and a member of the West End Church of Christ in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her husband David L. Craft; parents, William and Vina Coffey; beloved sister, Marlie Carter. Kennedy, Jill Bennett, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday morning, January 7, 2006. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Jill retired from Wal-Mart. She loved her crafts and won numerous awards for clogging. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Kaylor; son, Michael Bennett and husband, Ronald Bennett. Survived by her son, Ronald E. Bennett and wife, Lequita of Daytona, FL; daughter-in-law, Rebekah D. Bennett of Lenoir City; granddaughter, Shiann Bennett; mother, Margaret Kaylor of Lenoir City; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Green, Frank Delaplaine Jr., M.D., age 78, of Farragut, passed away Saturday evening, January 7, 2006. Dr. Green was a member of St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church. He was a graduate of Ursinus College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Green was an Anaesthesiologist with UT Medical Center for 10 years. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. In Korea he served with the U.S. Army's 300th Armored Field Artillery Battalion of the Wyoming National Guard, where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star with V Device for Valor. Dr. Green was active as an AYSO soccer referee and as a volunteer with Lenoir City Elementary School for many years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ellen Moorby Green; children Lt. Col. Patricia Ellen Tilson serving with the U.S. Army in Washington D.C.; Suzanne Elizabeth Peters and husband Brian of Farragut; Thomas Anson Green and wife Jane of Surfside, FL; grandchildren Alexander Bascomb Peters and Christopher Thomas Peters; brothers Robert McKay Green and wife Shirley of Madison, CT; Donald Gelston Green and wife Barbara of Charlotte, NC. A Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth's Church in Farragut with The Rev. Matthew Dutton-Gillett and The Rev. Paige Buchholz officiating. Richmond, Donnie Lynn, age 62, of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly, January, 7, 2006, at his home. Donnie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Donnie served in the Army National Guard and he had retired from Lenoir City Utilities after 35 years service. He was an avid golfer. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl Richmond; sister, Betty Faye Thomas; brother, Billy Gene Richmond; nephew, Mike Thomas; niece, Patti Jo Richmond.
