Betty Jane Burchett, 53, of Olmstead, Ky., died Monday, July 15, 2002.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 18, at 2 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home in Russellville, Ky. with Bro. Glenn Ramsey and Bro. Wilbur Powell officiating.
Interment followed at Belmont Cemetery in Allensville, Ky.
Mrs. Burchett was born in Logan County, Ky., April 21, 1949, to James Houchins and Mary Virginia Hines Houchins.
She is a member of Lighthouse of Truth Church, Franklin, Ky.
She worked at Kroger Deli in Springfield for 23 years.
She is survived by her husband, Starlin Burchett of Olmstead, Ky.; a son, Todd Burchett of Olmstead, Ky.; brother, Larry Houchins of Olmstead, Ky.; sisters, Judy Houchins of Olmstead, Ky., and Mary Frances Powell of Russellville, Ky.; three grandchildren, Austin Burchett, Trevor Price and Dylan East.
Sanders Funeral Home, Russellville, Ky., was in charge of arrangements.
John Robert Aucker
John Robert Aucker, 65, of Springfield, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Kyle Gott officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Aucker was born July 23, 1939, in Williamstown, Pa., to the late Paul A. and Ethel John Aucker.
He was retired from the Metro School System, where he worked as a school psychologist.
He was a member of Milldale Presbyterian Church, Cross Plains Men’s Club, American Morganhorse Association, and the National Association School Psychologist.
Mr. Aucker is survived by his wife, Cindy Jones Aucker of Springfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Scott and Carol Aucker of Brentwood and Mark David and Kathy Aucker of Knoxville; brothers, Paul Aucker of Muncey, Pa., and Jim Aucker of Orangeville, Pa.; grandchildren, Catherine and Andrew Aucker and Aaron, Adam and Alena Aucker.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to NorthCrest Hospice.

Gloria Ann Davenport
Gloria Ann Davenport, 68, of Springfield, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 11 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Lovvorn officiating.
Interment followed in Oakland Cemetery.
Mrs. Davenport was born April 15, 1936, in Robertson County, to the late Charles Otto and Thelma Harlan Reynolds.
She was a retired inspector with Southern Hill and was a member of Eastland Heights Baptist Church.
Mrs. Davenport was preceded in death by her husband, James Morgan Davenport; her sister, Ruth Nollner; and her grandson, Daryl Steven Benton.
Survivors include her son, Steve Randal Briggs of Springfield; daughters, Dinah Lynn Hutcherson and Brenda Haneline, both of Springfield; sisters, Lucille Thomas of Springfield, Jane Henry of Tampa, Fla., and Bonnie West of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Ashley Marie Briggs and Justin Randal Briggs; step-grandchildren, Ricky Joe, Angela, and Jimmy Hutcherson.

Shaun Marie Jones
Shaun Marie Jones, 20, of Springfield, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Vanderbilt Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. David Outlaw officiating.
Interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
Shaun Marie was born Sept. 14, 1984, in Davidson County.
She was a 2003 graduate of Springfield High School and was attending Volunteer State Community College.
She was a member of Heads Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Jerrel Lon and Elizabeth Lovelace Jones of Springfield; a brother, Stuart Lon Jones of Springfield; grandparents, David and Aleta Kuckkahn of Greenbrier and James and Barbara Lovelace of Westmoreland.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Springfield High School Library.

Dorothy Reynolds McMurtrey
Dorothy Reynolds McMurtrey, 84, of Springfield, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare Center.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Butler officiating.
Interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McMurtrey was born Nov. 22, 1920, in Davenport, Fla., to the late Bradford and Mary Whidden Reynolds.
She was a longtime resident of Hialeah, Fla., until the death of her husband, George Cecil McMurtrey. She then moved to Springfield.
Mrs. McMurtrey was a longtime member of of Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was a Kindergarten teacher, a supervisor of Day Care at First BaptistChurch in Hialeah, Fla., and a member of Eastern Star.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be missed by her family and friends at the Meadows Condos in Springfield.
In addition to her parents and husband she is also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Tommy Murphey; two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, June Murphey of Springfield and Patricia and Robert Jones of Lake Placid, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Louise Reynolds of Davenport, Fla.; grandchildren Randall (Teresa Kay) Murphey of Springfield, David (Regina) Murphey of Cedar Hill, Pamela (Wayne) Adams of Covington, Ga., Tom Addison of Hollywood, Fla.; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or to the American Cancer Society.

James H. Robertson
James H. Robertson, 83, of Greenbrier, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004.
Graveside services will be held in the Elmwood Cemetery Wednesday (today), Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Chuck Reed officiating.
He was born in Robertson County July 19, 1921, to the late V.L. and Carrie Ann Griffin Robertson.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Robertson.
Survivors include sisters, Joyce Kirby of Springfield, Odell Crawford of Goodlettsville, Mary Middleton of Springfield; nieces and nephews, Donna Reid-Leatherland of Hermitage, Julia Jackson of Gallatin, Ronnie Crawford of Greenbrier and Jean Foster of Springfield.
Pallbearers for the service are Peter Leatherland, Chris Dorris, Ian Jackson, Ronnie Crawford, Jacob Goosetree and Charles Leane.
