Mark Calloway
Mark Dwayne Calloway, 55, of Cross Plains died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Marshall and Bro. Brian Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Calloway was born Oct. 9, 1949, in Knoxville to the late James Elvin and Wanda Fay Miller Calloway.
He was a former pastor of Gloryland Baptist Church and Friendship Baptist Church, where he was a member at the time of his death.
He was employed by All American Homes as a plumber.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Calloway of Cross Plains; a son, Matt (Adrian) Calloway of White House; a daughter, Tonya (Andrew) Batson of Springfield; brothers, James E. Calloway, Billy Calloway and Sam Calloway, all of Knoxville and Jeff Calloway of Painesville, Ohio; sisters, Maxine Kelley, Naomi McFalls, Becky Hall and Ruth Horner, all of Knoxville; grandchildren, Samantha Calloway, Jacob Calloway, Shelby Batson and Will Batson.

Wayne Jones
Wayne Jones, 64, of Nashville, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, at his home.
Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 25 at 10:30 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Bert Dyson officiating.
He was born Oct. 22, 1940, in Shelbyville to Bertha Burr and Albert Jones of Nashville and was a member of Dalewood Baptist Church.

Melvin O. Mayes
Melvin O. Mayes, 65, of Greencastle, Ind. died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at the home of his daughter in Greenbrier.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 1:30 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Flatt officiating.
Burial followed in Mt. Sharon Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 9, 1939, in Tennessee to the late Russell and Nettie White Mayes.
He was a retired ironworker with the Local 22 of Indianapolis. He is also a member of the Lions Club and Moose Lodge.
Mr. Mayes is preceded in death by brothers, James, John, Tommy and Joe Dean Mayes and a sister, Thelma Durham.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Spurgeon Mayes of Greencastle, Ind.; son, Jeff Mayes of Houston, Texas; daughters, Kim (Jewell) Henderson of Greenbrier, Kelly Mayes of Greencastle, Ind.; a brother, Bobby Mayes of Lafayette, Ga.; sisters, Barbara Carroll of Greenfield, Ind., Vickie Groves of West Chester, Ohio; grandchildren, Nikki Wilson, Kasey Wilson, Mandi Foxworthy, Dallon Davis; and a great-granddaughter, Graci Lance.

Betty Jo Moore
Betty Jo Moore, 71, of Springfield, and formerly of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg with close family friend, Rev. Bobby Gobble officiating.
Interment followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrenceburg.
Miss. Moore was born March 20, 1933, in Lawrence County to the late Nell Crews and Clyde Moore.
She was a member of East End United Methodist Church in Lawrenceburg and was a retired bookkeeper for her family-owned business, Moore Milling Company in Lawrenceburg.
She was devoted to her family and loved the fellowship of the Bible Class at The Holiday House in Springfield, where she lived.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Patty Moore; niece and nephew-in-law, Kelli and Jerry Bush; nephew, Will Moore and great-nephews, Patrick Cole Bush and Carter Owen Bush, all of Springfield.

Salvatore Aglione
Salvatore Aglione, 50, of Springfield died Oct. 23, 2004, after a long illness.
He is preceded in death by a son, Curt Aglione.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; children, Denise Tucker of Springfield, Lisa Aglione of Hollywood, Fla.; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.

Sarah Catherine Mink
Sarah Catherine Mink, 72, of Franklin, Ind. (formerly of Robertson County) died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004 in Franklin, Ind.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Grossman officiating.
Interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
She was born June 21, 1932, to the late Johnny C. and Lucille Cherry Mink.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Jesse Mink of Springfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Ricky Leding of Springfield, Betty and Rich Wakefield of Spokane, Wash.; two brothers; two sisters; grandchildren, Kathy and Chris Schutte, Michelle Wakefield, Brian Wakefield; great-grandchildren, Kaylenee Schutte and Christopher Schutte.

Robert Wendell Jeannette Sr.
Robert Wendell Jeannette Sr., 68, of Nashville, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro.
Graveside services were conducted Friday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. in Memorial Gardens with Bro. Joe Rushing officiating.
Mr. Jeannette was born Jan. 17, 1936, in Cheatham County, to the late Winfield Sim and Virgie Beatrice Wilson Jeannette.
He served in the U. S. Marine Corps, was a member of the Church of Christ and was a retired route manager with Krispy Kreme.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Dorris Jeannette.
Survivors include sons, Bob (Dara) Jeannette of Smyrna and Steve Jeanette of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters, Mary Ellen (Graden) Boyd of Dallas, Texas, Amy Elizabeth Jeannette of Nashville; sisters, Margaret Pratt of Springfield and Carlene Damico of Birmingham, Ala.; grandchildren, Kristen Jeanette, Ryan Jeannette, Amanda Tackett, Jennifer Jeannette and Trotter Boyd.

Virgil Algordon Butrum
Virgil Algordon Butrum, 81, died at NorthCrest Medical Center Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, today, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. in Memorial Gardens with Rev. Joseph Desmond officiating.
Mr. Butrum was born in Macon County Dec. 28, 1922, to the late William Walter and Minnie Ellen King Butrum. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Florence Butrum.
He was a retired handyman and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his sister, Mary B. Walton of Springfield; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
