Gary Lynn Leftrick
Gary Lynn Leftrick, 39, of Springfield, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 5 at 1 p.m. in Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. James Turner officiating.
Interment followed in Oakland Cemetery.
Mr. Leftrick was born May 2, 1964, in Robertson County.
He was a brick mason and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Mr. Leftrick was preceded in death by his father, Leon Leftrick.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Biggs Leftrick of Springfield; daughters, Amanda, Brittany and Tiffany Leftrick, all of Springfield; brothers, Kenny Leftrick of Greenbrier and Dewayne Leftrick of Springfield; mother, Bonnie Leftrick of White House; grandmother, Ara Bell West of White House.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Stacie Renee Stewart Eidson
Stacie Renee Stewart Eidson, 32, of Greenbrier, died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 8 at 10 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. J.J. Wheelbarger officiating.
Interment followed in Owens Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Eidson was born Aug. 10, 1971, in Robertson County.
She was a member of Church of Christ.
Mrs. Eidson was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Vernon Stewart, a sister, Teresa Devon Stewart, grandparents, Edward Eliga and Ruth Cook Brown, Edward Vernon Stewart, and Mildred James Stewart Whitehead.
Survivors include sons, Joshua Edward Stewart, Caleb Lee Eidson and Michael Vernon Eidson, all of Greenbrier; mother Carolyn Brown Stewart of Atoka; a brother, James Steve Stewart of Springfield; a sister, Tracey Ruth Roberts of Atoka.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Maude O. England
Maude O. England, 91, of Springfield, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at NHC Healthcare Center.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 8 at 1 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris and Rev. Claudia Carls officiating.
Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
Miss England was born Nov. 11, 1912, in Logan County, Ky., to the late William Titus and Lizzie Hodges England.
She was a retired sales clerk for Cowan’s Department Store and was a member of Central Christian Church in Springfield.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, William Halcomb and James Hodges England and by her sisters, Mattie Sue James and Mary Agnes Allen.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Avis England of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Teri Marie Murrell
Teri Marie Murrell, 42, of Springfield, died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 9 at 11 a.m., in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Prior and Pastor Bart Pemberton officiating.
Interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Murrell was born Jan. 22, 1962, in Northridge, Calif. She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Community Church in Joelton.
Survivors include her husband, English Murrell of Springfield; son, Jacob Murrell of Springfield; son, Jacob Murrell of Springfield; daughters, Elyse, Heather and Sarah Murrell of Springfield; parents, Carlos and Lue Markham of Springfield; brother, Dan Markham of Donelson; sisters, Carla Owens of Springfield, Lynette Moore of Lakewood, Colo., and Tracy Banning of Hendersonville.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Preston Eidson
Preston Eidson, 82, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at the residence of Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 7 at 2 p.m., with Bro. Bill Richardson and Bro. Alan Smith officiating.
Pallbearers were Corey Last, Michael Duncan, John Hill, Bud Pardue, Randy Brooks and J.C. Hagan.
Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by parents, Genie and Minnie Eidson and wife, Ruby Geraldine Eidson.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Patsy E. and John J. “Jack” Last; and a grandson, John Corey Last.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home, White House, was in charge of arrangements.

Steven Earl Head
Steven Earl Head, 56, died Friday, March 5, 2004.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 9 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Dr. David Leavell officiating.
Interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Head was co-owner and operator of Springfield Country Club and Tennessee Core.
He was born in Robertson County on May 29, 1947, to the Mathew S. and Margaret Simmons Head.
He graduated from BGA and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a son, Christopher Earl Head of Tempe, Ariz., and a brother, Gary Head of Hendersonville.
Pallbearers were Jimmy McKee, Bobby Casteel, Phil Dorris, Henry Dean, Ernie Stark, Mike Gallagher, Johnny “Pete” Clinard, Don Sommerville and Roy Lee Brewer.
Honorary pallbearers were Ozzy Osment “Broken Spoke Band,” Rick Boyer, Jeff Walker, Wayne Burton and Bill Franklin.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Springfield Baptist Church Building Fund.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Paul Robert Long Jr.
Paul Robert Long Jr., 55, of Springfield, died at Vanderbilt Medical Center Sunday, March 7.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 10 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Austin officiating.
Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Long was a long-time business owner in Springfield and was owner and operator of Long’s Auto Sales and Long’s 66.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was born in Robertson County to the late Paul Robert Long Sr., and Vallie Marie Leftrick Long.
In addition to his father he is also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Anthony Long and a sister, Paulette Young.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, Jody Morrison of Springfield; daughters, Brandy Long, Mandy Long and Lexi Long, all of Springfield; his children’s mother, Phyllis Long of Springfield; three brothers, Robert Long of Nashville, Eddie Long, Paul Eugene Long, both of Springfield; five sisters, Ann Henderson, Sheila Hurst, Paula Coats, Diane Jones, all of Springfield, and Carolyn Kelly of Ridgetop; a grandchild, Chelsea Jo Morrison of Springfield; a girlfriend, Michelle Farmer.
Austin & Bell Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
