Lena A. Justice, 94, died at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield Monday, Feb. 23, 2004.
Services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Dr. Fred Baldwin officiating.
Burial was in the Greenbrier Cemetery.
Miss Justice was born in Robertson County Feb. 10, 1910 to the late Edward Lee Jones and Lula Roxie Bollinger Justice.
She is survived by nieces Paulette Cowan of Springfield, Anita Cowan of Springfield, Gayles Birdwell of Greenbrier; nephews, Mike Justice of Greenbrier, Robert Hawkins of Birmingham, Ala., Joe Justice of Augusta, Ga.; sister-in-law, Melba Justice of Greenbrier along with several great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers for the service were Jeremy Justice, Tony Birdwell, Adam Cowan, Jeff Justice, Robert Hankins and Bob Baggett.
Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Birdwell and Kolby Birdwell.
Austin & Bell Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
Jeremy Shane Wooten
Jeremy Shane Wooten, 21, of Greenbrier, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 29 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Dr. Bill Owen officiating.
Interment followed in the Memorial Gardens in Springfield.
Jeremy was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church and was employed with the VF Imaging Company.
He was born in Mayfield, Ky., Sept. 6, 1982 to Jerry Turner Wooten and Debbie Denise Harris of Clarksville.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry Turner (Sherrie) Wooten of Greenbrier, and Debbie Denise Harris of Clarksville; grandmothers, Nellie Bridges and Jean Carter; grandfather, Bobby Harris; brothers, Chris Harris of Fla., A.J. Wooten of Greenbrier, Anthony Wooten of Greenbrier, and Jerad Wooten of Alabama; and a sister, Chasity Brown of Greenbrier.

Larry R. Barbee
Larry R. Barbee, 61, of Springfield, died Monday, Feb. 23 at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb 27 at noon, at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Jones officiating.
Interment followed at Restlawn Memorial Gardens at Cedar Hill.
Larry Ray Barbee was born Sept. 13, 1942, in Robertson County to Clara Barbee Harris and the late John Edward Barbee.
Survivors include his wife, Danielle Barbee; four daughters, Clara Neblett, Felicia Hampton, Ida Barbee, Letesha (Jason) Chatman; a son, Robert Wayne Demumbrum; step-daughter, Destiny Hyde; mother, Clara Barbee Harris; mother-in-law, Bonnie Hyde; five sisters, Susie McDonald, Joyce (Perry) Patterson, Emma Jamison, Nella Davis, Catherine Coleman; two brothers, John (Barbara) Barbee, Curtis (Tarita) Wynn; sister-in-law, Shay Hyde; devoted brother-in-law, Fred Davis; an aunt, Ebbie Groves; an uncle, Charles Barbee; best friends, Ernest Gamble and Thomas Burr; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; and 12 grandchildren.

Betty J. Barbee
Betty J. Barbee, 65, of Springfield, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004, at NHC Healthcare.
Graveside services were held Thursday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. at Restlawn Cemetery, with Pastor Alfonzo Greene officiating.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Barbee and Mildred Dunn.
Survivors include a sister, Occie Pearl Menesse of Springfield; devoted nieces, Mattie Washington, Betty Traughber of Springfield; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Florence Gardner, 62, of Springfield, died Feb. 26, 2004, at Centennial Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 1 at 7 p.m. at Faith Apostolic Church with Rev. Harold Hines officiating.
Interment followed at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, James Riley Gardner of Springfield; a son, James C. Gardner of Springfield; three daughters, Sonya Gardner, Teresa Ann Gardner and Lisa Savage, all of Springfield; five grandchildren.

Mary Ann Nobbin
Mary Ann Nobbin, 41, died Feb. 23, 2004.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. at Greater South Baptist Church in Springfield with Rev. Samuel Stratton officiating.
Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Cross Plains.
Mrs. Nobbin was born March 1, 1963, in Evansville, Ind. To the late Sarah Hattie Brison.
She was a graduate of Beech High School in Hendersonville.
She was a faithful member of Greater South Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mrs. Levi Baker, and foster mother, L.D. White.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Nobbin of Springfield; three sons, Larry Wadlington of Cross Plains, Charles Williams of Nashville and Kevin Hudson of Springfield; three grandchildren, Ziata and Kaiya Williams of Springfield, Kevontex Hudson of Springfield; a brother, David Brison of Nashville; foster mother, Joyce Wilford; four foster-sisters, Tammy, Carolyn, Thelma and Lisa; aunts, Catherine (Jimmie) Zellner of Hopkinsville, Emma (Joseph) Webb of Nashville, Susie (Price) Martin of Nashville, Rotressa (Ernest) Yelling of Montgomery, Ala.; uncles, Johnnie (Thelma) Baker of Columbia, S.C., Tommie (Georgette) Baker of East Chicago, Ind., Jimmie (Marsha) Baker of Nashville, Robert Baker of Nashville; great-aunts, Periline Weaver of Hopkinsville, Ky., Martha Waddington of Chicago, Ill.; devoted friend, Janet Woodard; a host of cousins and close friends.

Leonard E. Meador Sr.
Leonard E. Meador Sr., 81, of Gulfport, Miss., died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 27 at 12:45 p.m. at the Riemann Funeral Home chapel. Burial followed in the National Cemetery in Biloxi, Miss.
He was born Nov. 15, 1922, in Springfield.
He was a member and a deacon of Gulf Gardens Baptist Church in Gulfport.
Mr. Meador was a retired truck driver and a member of the local trucker’s union and was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who loved his Lord.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Letha and Rose Meador and a grandson, Leonard LeWayne Meador.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 64 years, Dorene; a son, Leonard E. Meador Jr., and his wife, Judy of Gulfport, Miss.; a daughter, Nancy Webb and her husband, Joe of Gulfport; five grandsons; a granddaughter; and 19 great-grandchildren.
