Hubert Etherly, 72, of Springfield, died Nov. 19, 2004, at St. Thomas Hospital.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 23 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with Rev. Floyd Shaw officiating.
Burial followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Orlinda.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta Etherly of Springfield; two sons, Dwayne Etherly of Springfield and Jeffery Etherly of Alabama; a daughter, Deborah Smith of Nashville.

Johnnie Mae Dunn
Johnnie Mae Dunn, 67, of Springfield, died Nov. 17, 2004, at Beverly Health Care Center.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Quinton Yates officiating.
Burial followed at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include a daughter, Rochelle Dunn of Springfield; three brothers, Harold Dunn of Nashville, Woodard Dunn and Phillip Dunn, both of Springfield; four sisters, Dallesia Barbee, Shirley Dickerson, Jacqueline Johnson, all of Springfield, and Carolyn Boyd of Birmingham, Ala.; and a grandchild.

Annie Mai Croney, 84, of Springfield, died Nov. 24, 2004 at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Taylor officiating.
Burial followed at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include a son, Sammuel V. Croney of California; two daughters, Cora A. Finch of Sacramento, Calif. And Shelvia Turner of Springfield; a daughter-in-law, Sebine Thomas of Chicago, Ill. 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Angela Marie Boyles, 34, died Nov. 24, 2004.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27 at the Faith is the Victory Church with Pastor Charles Cowan officiating.
Interment followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Survivors include sons, Jordan and Hayden Boyles; parents, Donald and Patsy Powell; father, Bobby Mitchell; brothers, Jason Mitchell and Jeffery Powell.

Fred Joe Cobb Jr.
Fred Joe Cobb Jr., 56, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Putman officiating.
Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Cobb is preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Cunningham.
Survivors include his wife, Dana Cobb of Portland; a son, Fred Joe Cobb III, of Portland; a daughter, Jennifer Cobb Higgins of Franklin, Ky.; granddaughter, Jessie Cobb of Lebanon; parents, Jessie and Fred Cobb Sr. of Nashville; a sister, Connie Balthrop of Pleasant View; brothers, Jim Cobb of Nashville and Jack Cobb of Goodlettsville.
He was a member of Bryam’s Chapel Church.
The family requests memorials be made to Alive Hospice.

Leslie Allen “Bud” Dunn, 62, of Concord, N.C., died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Northeast Medical Center Concord, N.C.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 29 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel Kannapolis, N.C. with Rev. Karen Kurtz officiating.
Interment followed at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, N.C.
Mr. Dunn was born July 15, 1942 in Springfield to J.V. Dunn and Grace Head Dunn.
He is retired from AT&T, Charlotte, N.C. and was a member of Army National Guard from 1961-67.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Covington Dunn; two sons, Andrew Dunn and wife Heather of Augusta, Ga., James Michael Dunn and wife, Claire of Charlotte; a brother, John L. Dunn of Stockbridge, Ga.; three sisters, Betty Sue Hinson of Keokuk, Iowa, Mary Jane West of Melbourne, Fla., and JoAnne Taylor of Nashville; and his special girl, granddaughter, Ginny Beth.

Charles Albert "Chuck" Cato Jr.
Charles Albert "Chuck" Cato Jr., 55, of Springfield, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004 at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held today, Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Battle Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Cato was born July 3, 1949 in Davidson County to Billie Jean Tillman Cato of Springfield and the late Charles Albert Cato Sr.
He is preceded in death by this brother, Mark Cato.
He was a butcher and a member of Battle Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, David (Christy) Cato, and a sister, Rosanna (Ricky) Ayres, all of Springfield.

Helen Snover Corbitt
Helen Snover Corbitt, 91, of Springfield, died Thursday, July 29, 2004, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, Aug. 2 at 1 p.m. in Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville with Rev. Michael Lusby officiating.
Mrs. Corbitt was born July 26, 1913, in Shelby, Ala., to the late George Frederick and Nancy Katherine Williams Snover.
She was a retired auditor with Sears and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church.
Mrs. Corbitt was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Braun Corbitt.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Lulu Price Corbitt of Springfield; grandchildren, Kelli Corbitt Mormon and husband Paul, Brooke Corbitt Garrett and husband, Jason, and Braun Price Corbitt; great-grandchildren, Mary Katherine, Hadleigh Elizabeth, and Anna Caroline Mormon.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the building fund of Springfield Baptist Church.
