Nelline Kirby Johnson, 80, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004.
Funeral services were held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, White House at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, with Bro. Robert Lemay officiating.
Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dale Thompson, Bill Burgess, David Jones, Larry Summers, Buford Sprouse, Lloyd Johnson, Shane Summers and Lee Murphy.
Survivors include her husband, Odie Johnson; nieces, Linda Summers, Kay Bloodworth; a nephew, David Jones; several other nieces and nephews.

Mary Virginia Hornberger
Mary Virginia Hornberger, 85, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m., Jan. 29, with Rev. Steven Lee officiating.
Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by husband, Edward Hornberger and a daughter, Sherry Jo Hunnicutt.
Survivors include sons, Prentice (Vicky) Whitfield of Arizona, Lanny (Eilleen) Whitfield and Phillip Whitfield, both of White House; daughters, Betty Jean (Roy) Callis of Portland and Peggy (Ponnie) Lamberth of Florida; 52 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Dorothy Irene Kyle
Dorothy Irene Sanders Kyle, 81, died at her home following a long illness.
Funeral services were held in Gideon Methodist Church Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at 10 a.m. with Dr. Bob Jared officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Kyle.
Survivors include a devoted daughter, Lenda Smith; sons, Everette Wayne (Debby) Sanders, Ronnie H. (Carol) Sanders and Jerry W. Sanders; four stepchildren; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law; a host of loving nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Nancy Bower Myers
Nancy Bower Myers, 87, died Jan. 23, 2004.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 26 with Rev. William Luffman officiating.
Her remains were then moved to Shurtleff Funeral Home in Genoa, N.Y., where a service will be held Friday, Jan. 30, at Milan Baptist Church at 6 p.m. with Rev. Ben Mather officiating.
Burial will follow, as weather permits, in West Genoa Cemetery.
She was born in King Ferry, N.Y., May 12, 1916, to the late John Isaac and Irene Bush Bower.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Thompson Myers, a daughter, Marsha Sue Ryan, grandson, Darren H. Hargett and brothers, Ralph Bower and Harlan Bower.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald Paul and Hannelore A. Myers of Springfield, Ronald Lee and Cheryl Myers of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Ann and David Armstrong of Genoa, N.Y., and Linda Jean Hargett of King Ferry, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Anne Lou Stockett Arnold
Anne Lou Stockett Arnold, 65, of Springfield died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 15 at 11 a.m. in Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Rev. Doug Downey officiating.
Interment will follow in Bellwood Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 14, 1938, in Stevenson, Ala., to the late John C. and Inez Pike Stockett.
Mrs. Arnold was a self-employed tax preparer, a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved working in her garden with her numerous flowers and plants, especially her African violets.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Grace Anne Fields.
Survivors include her husband, Phineas Dean Arnold of Adams; daughters and son-in-law, Allison Marie and David Fields of Adams, Janice Lee Albright of Adams; sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Denise Arnold of Greenbrier, David and Dawn Arnold of Adams; three brothers, Joe T. Stockett of Las Vegas, Nev., Bob Stockett of Montgomery, Ala., and Steve Stockett of Haneyville, Ala.; grandchildren, Jesse and Joseph Fields, Brandon and Billy Dean Arnold, Blake and Ashley Arnold, Ricky and Ryan Hankins and Alyssa Anne Albright.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Arnold’s service were Ricky Hankins, Brandon Arnold, Ryan Hankins, Eddie Arnold Jr., Joel Arnold, Phillip Arnold, Billy Dean Arnold, Jesse Fields, Joseph Fields and Blake Arnold.

Hubert L. Crawford, 83, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. at Gideon Methodist Church.
Burial followed in Gideon Cemetery.
He was retired from DuPont.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Prickett Crawford.
Survivors include sons, Lawrence (Sandra) Crawford, Robert M. Crawford, Richard A. (Sheila) Crawford; daughter, Anita (Dan) Blake; brother-in-law, Robert Holt Prickett Jr.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Davis Murphey Inman
Davis Murphey Inman, 70, of Cedar Hill, died at Gateway Medical Center Monday, Jan. 26, 2004.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield, with Bro. Johnny Carver and Bro. Daryl Hooper officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Gardens in Springfield.
Visitation will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Inman was born in Robertson County Jan. 21, 1934, to the late Wiley Buchanon and Gertrude Murphey Inman.
He was retired from the maintenance department with Caterpillar.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Green Inman and a sister, Ruth Winters.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Williams Inman of Cedar Hill; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Tethi Inman of Lebanon, Todd and Angie Inman of Springfield; stepson, Wendy and Bill Duvall of Clarksville; stepdaughter, Teresa and Johnny Riggins of Clarksville; brother, Wiley B. Inman Jr. of Bon Aqua; sister, Louise Collins of Chicago; and nine grandchildren.
