Jane Overstreet Walker
Jane Overstreet Walker, 77, of Cedar Hill, died Thursday, July 29, 2004, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
She was born June 18, 1927, in Smith County, to the late Andrew H. and Emma White Overstreet.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 31 in the Oakhurst Chapel at Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Wagner officiating.
Burial followed in Head’s Cemetery in Cedar Hill.
Mrs.Walker was a homemaker and a member of Head’s Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Dillard Walker and her sisters, Marie Stalvey and Jean Waller.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Jan Walker of Cedar Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Steve Shepard of Cedar Hill; grandchildren, Brad and wife, Amy Walker, Christa Walker, Stephanie Shepard and Michael Shepard.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Richard James Solly
Richard James Solly, 43, of White House, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at his home.
Memorial services were conducted Saturday, July 31 at Grace Park Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Cook officiating.
Mr. Solly was born Sept. 3, 1960, in Hawthorn, Calif. to Charles Robert Solly of Auburn, Calif., and the late Zella Mame Kline Solly.
He is also preceded in death by his grandmother, Archie Finley Beavert.
He was an electrician with A & S Electric.
He was loved and will be missed by many.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a brother, Michael John Haskin of Madison; sisters, P.J. (Tom) Blackwell of Springfield, and Bobbie (William) Patterson of Laverne; nine nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and great-nephews.

Kim Houston
Kimberly Denise Morgan Houston, 41, of Springfield, died Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Baptist Hospital.
Funeral services were held at Robertson County Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 29, with Dr. Farris Moore officiating.
Interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
She was born July 11, 1963, in New Jersey to Harry and Rosalie Reynolds Morgan.
She was an IT Manager for Caterpillar Financial Services.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Monroe and Grace Reynolds and her paternal grandmother, Zell Morgan.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Rick Houston; children, Tyler Brandon Houston and Emily Grace Houston, all of Springfield; brothers, Todd Morgan and David Morgan; sisters, Vicki Krebs and Carol Morgan.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Elbert Roscoe Castello
Elbert Roscoe Castello, 94, of Nashville, and formerly of Greenbrier, died at Imperial Manor Tuesday, July 27, 2004.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier Thursday, July 29 with Bro. Dahl Jackson officiating.
Interment followed in Spring Hill Cemetery.
He was a retired carpenter specializing in cabinets.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William and Mary Castello of Nashville; five step-children; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ima Joan Soporowski
Ima Joan Soporowski, 70, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at Sumner Regional Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 31 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Carolyn Bingham officiating.
Graveside services and interment was held Monday Aug. 2 at 1 p.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram.
Honorary pallbearers were J. W. Smart, Harold Williams, and Ladies Auxiliary of Fleet Reserve Association.
Active pallbears were Leo Soporowski Jr., Richard Hunt, Rusty Brown, Brad Davis, Jeff Stacey, Larry Combs, Troy Sloan.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to H.B. Williams Elementary Library, 115 S. Palmer Chapel Road, White House, TN 37188.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Soporowski Sr.; daughter, Lynn Jonell Soporowski; a son, Leo Soporowski Jr.; grandchildren, Hunter Willbanks and Michaela and Joey Soporowski; and a sister, Joyce Graves.

Lillie Ellen Reid, 91, of White House, died Saturday, July 31, 2004.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, (today) Aug. 4 at 1 p.m. at Austin & Bell Funeral Home at White House, with Dr. Bill Palmiter officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Sherold Reid; grandsons, James D. and Douglas S. Reid; great-granddaughters, Kristen M. and Lauren A. Reid.

Robert Guy Story Sr.
Robert Guy Story Sr., 73, of Jackson, formerly of Springfield, died at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital Saturday, July 31, 2004.
Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2 with Rev. Jerry Weathers officiating.
Interment was held in Memorial Gardens in Springfield.
Mr. Story was born in Humphrey County Jan. 24, 1931, to the late Elvis and Mildred Louise Qualls Story.
He was a manager in the grocery industry for many years.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Story and a grandson, Chad Story.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Guy and Shelly Story Jr., of Keiser, Ark., Greg and Susan Story of Tiptonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and William Mooney of Jackson; a brother, R. Dale Story of Springfield; sisters, Peggy Gray of Springfield, and Sherry Eden of White House; four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Eden, Donnie Eden, Mike Story, Allen Mooney, Allen Powell and Eric Gilmore.
