Fred King Shoemake
Fred King Shoemake, 63, of Springfield, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday (today), at 11 a.m. Nov. 26 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Bro. Floyd Reynolds officiating.
Interment will be in Bellwood Cemetery.
He was born in Nashville July 10, 1940, to the late Bethel Douglas and Effie Uola Horton Shoemake. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Keneth Shoemake.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Imogene Shoemake of Springfield; a son, Paul Quentin Shoemake of Springfield; and a grandson, Quinton Shoemake of Springfield.
Austin & Bell Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.

Francis Harris Bidwell
Francis Harris Bidwell, 93, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Pleasant View, died at Freedom Inn in Scottsdale, Ariz. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant View Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Mrza and Rev. Ryan Bennett officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery.
She was born in Robertson County Nov. 25, 1909, to the late David C. and Margaret (Maggie) M. Murphy Harris.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mather M. Bidwell, and two brothers, Earl Harris, Hershel Harris, and a sister, Sudie Chambliss.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Mike Peters of Scottsdale, Ariz.; five grandchildren, John Peters, Paige Peters, Steve Peters, Mark Peters, and Larry Spohn; and five great-grandchildren.
The children will serve as pallbearers.
Austin & Bell Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.

Patsy R. Cooper-Hester
Patsy R. Cooper-Hester, 55, of Springfield, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. at Austin & Bell Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Smith and Bro. Bobby Hogan officiating.
Interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cooper-Hester was born Nov. 20, 1948, in Robertson County to the late Edward M. and Ada Belle Dixon Gregory.
She was an assembler at Peterbilt plant.
Survivors include her husband, Gayland Hester of Springfield; a son, Terry Cooper of Greenbrier and a daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Richard Jones of Greenbrier; a brother, Bobby Gregory of Franklin, Ky.; four sisters, Bonnie Caldwell of Adolphus, Ky., Anne Newberry of Springfield, Barbara Rushing of Orlinda and Shirley Morris of Springfield; four grandchildren, Megan Cox, Cody Jones, Dylan Cooper and Austen Hammock, all of Greenbrier.
Austin & Bell Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

Geraldean Parker Hulsey
Geraldine Parker Hulsey, 74, of Greenbrier, died at Skyline Medical Center Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier, with Bro. Frank Evans officiating.
Interment followed in Greenbrier Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by a son, James Dean Jones.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Kathy Jones of Pleasant View, Ronnie and Janice Jones of Greenbrier, Larry and Carol Jones of Greenbrier; two daughters and son-in-law, Charlotte and Ronnie Weaver of Greenbrier and Joyce Williams of Greenbrier of Greenbrier; a sister, Betty Bush of Greenbrier;
14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the service were Chris Jones, Jeff Hulsey, Tommy Weaver, Bryan Williams, Donnie Jones II, Patrick, Boo Jones and Larry (Bubba) Jones.
Austin & Bell Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

Lillian Eve D’Antonio
Lillian Eve “Lilly” D’Antonio, 6 months, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 in Woodlawn Chapel of Roses.
Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Survivors include her parents, Louis and Candace D’Antonio of Springfield; grandparents, Judy and Robert Toy, Richard and Debra Fogle, Daniel D’Antonio; great-grandparents, Lorna and Delmer Parks, Lorraine Locke, Gail Toy, Louis and Delores D’Antonio, Barbara Kirby; many aunts and uncles.
Woodlawn Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, is in charge of arrangements.

Laura Johnson Hyams
Laura Johnson Hyams, 94, of Clarksville, died at her residence, Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 in the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home in Clarksville, with Rev. Noble Gammon officiating.
Burial followed in Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton, Ky.
She was born in Adams Dec. 19, 1908 to John Robert Johnson and Nancy Josephine Spicer Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Hyams and a daughter, Anne Gammon.
Mrs. Hyams was a homemaker and a member of Kenwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Martha M. Gleerup of Cross Plains, Mary Jandrokovic of Springfield, and Barbara Gammon of Goodlettsville; brothers, Joe Johnson of Trenton, Ky., Jesse Johnson of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Charlie Johnson of Pembroke, Ky.; a sister, Mildred Johnson of Joelton; 26 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Hyams, David Morgan, Andy Jandrokovic, Dorris Gammon, Marty Gammon, Steve Gammon, and Kenny Gammon.
Neal Tarpley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Barbara Jewel Keith
Barbara Jewel Gainous Keith, 50, of Springfield, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Harriman.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home.
The interment followed in Greenbrier Cemetery.
Mrs. Keith was born Jan. 25, 1953, in Robertson County.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Mrs. Keith is survived by her husband, Roger Dale Keith of Springfield; sons, Michael Keith and wife, Amy, of Harriman, and Leslie Brian Keith of Greenbrier; father, Emmett Gainous of Springfield; mother, Jennie Taylor Gainous of Springfield; brothers, Tony Gainous of Greenbrier, Randall Gainous of Springfield, and Ted Gainous of Cottontown; a sister, Debbie Evans of Springfield; grandchildren, Jordan, Alisha, Jade and Chasity Keith.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
