Janice Hester McCormack
Janice Hester McCormack, 55, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at her home.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, White House, with Bro. Clayton Hall officiating.
Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jeff Hester.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby McCormack; daughters, Sherri (Ken) Myers, Sharon (Vince) Costa, Shannon (Tommy) Baran, and Brooke McCormack; five grandchildren; her mother, Eula Hester.
Pallbearers were Joe Jernigan, Oscar Webb, Jamie and Jackie Latimer, Van Pond, and Larry McFarlin.

Emile Thomas Crutcher
Emile Thomas Crutcher, died Oct. 7, 2003 in Goodlettsville.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Dr. Fred Baldwin officiating.
Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews, Thomas B. Crutcher Jr., Adam Crutcher, Andrew Crutcher, Nicholas Crutcher, David Crutcher, Edward Crutcher and Don Balthrop.
Honorary pallbearers are Elwyn Huddleston, Robert Balthrop, Harold Fisher, Mark Lundy and the Older Men’s Sunday School Class of Greenbrier First Baptist Church.
Mr. Crutcher served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and retired from DuPont. He attended and taught Sunday School at Greenbrier First Baptist Church for many years.
Mr. Crutcher is preceded in death by his parents, William Sanders and Jesse Lemma Hinkle Crutcher, a daughter, Margaret Rose Crutcher, brothers, William, James and Bryan Crutcher, and sisters, Molene Crutcher Moulton and Margaret Crutcher Weeks.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Virginia Hackney Crutcher, and his sons, Thomas Brooks Crutcher (Terri) of Madison and William Samuel Crutcher (Linda) of Goodlettsville; brothers, Jon Crutcher and Richard Crutcher, both of Pleasant View; sisters, Mayron Huddleston of Brentwood, Ruth Balthrop of Waverly and Carolyn Jillson of Hopkinsville, Ky.; grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Cecilia, Adam, and Rachel, Andrew, Nicholas and Amy.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Greenbrier First Baptist Church.

Jessie Lee Hayes Taylor
Jessie Lee Hayes Taylor, 74, of Adairville, Ky., died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at Franklin Simpson County Medical Center.
Graveside services were held Thursday, Oct. 9 in the Greenwood Cemetery with Bro. Terry Tipton officiating.
She was born in Logan County Sept. 4, 1929, to the late Jessie Bell and Alice Wooden Hayes.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Woodrow Taylor.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Alexander of Adairville, Ky.; a brother, Hayden Hayes of Russellville, Ky.; a sister, Carrie Belcher of Smithland, Ky.; two grandchildren, Kirk Alexander, Sarah Alexander, both of Nashville; and a great-grandchild, Caitlyn Beckman.

John L. Haynes
John L. Haynes, 67, of Cedar Hill died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at his home.
Per Mr. Haynes’ request, his remains were cremated.
He was born Jan. 2, 1936, in Robertson County to the late Gordon and Marguerite Elliott Haynes.
He was a life-long, self-employed mechanic and loved working on all types of machinery.
Survivors include a sister, Ann Haynes Tidwell of Nashville; nieces, Diane Judkins of Goodlettsville, Kay Durham and Elaine Kaylor, both of Mt. Juliet; three great-nephews; three great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; and a great-great-niece.

William Guy Munday
William Guy “Buck” Munday, 77, of Springfield, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at Beverly Healthcare Center.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Farris Moore and Rev. Greg Love officiating.
Interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Munday was born Dec. 4, 1925, in Robertson County to the late Will and Dixie Rippy Munday.
He was the owner and operator of Buck’s Barber Shop.
He was a lifelong member of Orlinda Baptist Church and was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Munday, brothers, Jack and J.W. “Buster” Munday, sisters, Hazel Fletcher, Nettie Scott and Betty Munday.
Survivors included his wife, Rachel Summers Munday of Springfield; step-daughter, Sandra Nichols and husband Bill of Hendersonville; a brother, Billy Ray Munday and wife, Shirley of Chattanooga; a sister, Maggie Rigsby and husband, T.C. of Orlinda; step-grandchildren, Georffrey, Jennifer and Julie Nichols.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the building fund of Orlinda Baptist Church.

William Earl Allgood
William Earl “Bill” Allgood, 73, of Greenbrier, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 11 at 3 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. David Evans and Dr. Fred Baldwin officiating.
The interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Allgood was born March 15, 1930, in Robertson County to the late Robert Henry and Amanda Katherine Brinley Allgood.
He was retired from Jamison Bedding and was a Baptist.
Mr. Allgood is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Poole Allgood, daughter, Shirley Ann Allgood, brothers, Dallas, Robert, Bailey and Eugene Allgood.
Survivors include a son, Donald Allgood and wife, Kathy of Nashville; daughter, Debbie Rittenberrry and husband, Donnie of Greenbrier; brothers, Clarence Allgood and wife, Ruby of Springfield and Walter Allgood of Springfield; grandchildren, Jason Allgood and wife, Rachel, David Allgood, Michael and April Rittenberry; great-grandchildren, Dayton Blaise and Wheeler Allgood.

Clarence Gailor Gower
Clarence Gailor Gower, 86, of Springfield, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating.
The interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gower was born May 2, 1917, in Robertson County to the late Clarence Burgess and Betty Whitehead Gower.
He was a retired printer from Dixie Graphics and was a retired paper carrier for the Robertson County Times.
Mr. Gower was a member of West End Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Hudgens Gower and his daughters, Marilyn Head and Judy Gower.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Stroud of Brentwood; a sister, Catherine Hudgens of Springfield; and a grandson, Duane Head.
