Jessie Bell Barbee, 83, died Sept. 7, 2003.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. in Memorial Gardens with Michael L. Smith officiating.
She was born Sept. 11, 1914, to the late Oliver and Gertie Anderson Sircy.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Andy Earl Barbee, brothers, Fred Sircy and Robert A. Sircy and a sister, Margaret Oakley.
Survivors include nieces, Anne and Johnny Purcell of Old Hickory, Sarah and Bob Phiel of Newborn, Ga., Patsy McGrath of Haiku, Hawaii, Carolyn Sircy of Hammond, La., and Ellen Sircy of Georgetown, Texas; a nephew, Robert A. and Opal Sircy II of Savannah; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Sircy of Hammond, La.

Dianne Hoover Hayes
Dianne Hoover Hayes, 57, died at her home in Nashville Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, after a brief illness.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday evening, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Madison Church of Christ with Dr. Steve Flatt and Bro. Jim Bill McInteer officiating.
Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Hayes was born at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville Feb. 22, 1946, to the late James Hoyt Hoover Sr. and Edna Downey Hoover.
Survivors include her husband, John F. Hayes of Nashville; three sons and daughter-in-law, Mark F. and Meredith Hayes of Hendersonville, Steven J. Hayes of Madison and James F. Hayes of Joelton; a brother, James Hoyt Hoover Jr. of Nashville; a sister, Kathleen Hoover Toothman of Springfield; and a granddaughter, Jordan Hayes.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Sanford, Ralph Toothman, Andy Hoover, Michael Jordan, Conn Hamlett, Richard Hoover, David Hoover and Jim Hoover.
Austin & Bell Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
Jimmie Bruce Russell
Jimmie Bruce Russell, 83, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. with Elder C.L. “Dee” Russell officiating.
Pallbearers were Dale and Terry Russell, Dell and James Hosale Jr., Wayne Martin, and Paul Brinkley.
Interment followed at White House Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include daughters, Denise McCullough, Janet Hosale, Judy McPartland; sons, Jimmy Dale, Earl and Bruce Russell; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Margie Ellen Mayes, 83, died Sept. 1, 2003.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home with Pastor Jacky Martin officiating.
Interment followed at Mayes Cemetery.
Grandchildren served as pallbearers.
Survivors include daughters, Lavone Worsham (Shaerman), Linda C. Moore (Brownie), sons, Charles E. Mayes (D.J.), Melbiurn T. Mayes (Bonnie), sisters, Nina Worsham, Gladys Elizabeth Roland, Mattie Louise Buchanan; brothers, Paul, James and Theodore Arnold; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Kennith Wayne Ethridge
Kennith Wayne Ethridge, 57, died Aug. 29, 2003 at Loudes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, Sept. 2 at 10 a.m.
Burial followed in Hazel Cemetery at Dixon Springs, Ill.
He was born March 11, 1946, in Evansville, Ind., the son of Charles Ethridge and Vera (Johnson) Ethridge.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed as a laborer.
Mr. Ethridge was of the Baptist faith and was a classic and antique car enthusiast.
He is preceded in death by an infant brother, Ronald Eugene Ethridge, and infant sister, Phyllis Evelyn Ethridge, and a brother-in-law, Dan Perry.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Ethridge of Goreville, Ill.; a sister, Gloria Perry of Springfield; a brother, Everette Ethridge and his wife, Jeanne of Evansville, Ind.; nieces, Kelly Houghland and Tina Francis; nephews, Mike Grubb and Ron Houghton, all of Evansville, Ind.; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Christine Covington Parks
Christine Covington Parks, 92, of White House, died Sept. 8, 2003.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10 (today) at Wilkinson-Wiseman Funeral Home in Portland with Rev. David Spencer officiating.
Burial will follow at Restlawn
She was born Nov. 11, 1910, in Sumner County to Robert Vernon and Willie Moore Hatter Harris.
Survivors include two sons, Lonnie (Kay) Covington of White House, and Ronald Covington of Orlinda; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

Pamela Renee’ Branham
Pamela Renee’ Branham, 33, of Tompkinsville, Ky., formerly of Springfield, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville.
Funeral services were held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield Saturday, Aug. 30.
Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born July 2, 1970, in Robertson County.
She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Johnson.
Survivors include her mother, Kathy (Michael) Pentecost of Springfield; her husband, David Branham of Tompkinsville; three sons, Jade Hovious, Dalton Branham, both of Springfield, and Dillon Branham of Tompkinsville; a brother, Joshua Johnson of Springfield; a half-brother, Johnny (Luann) Johnson Jr. of Montana; a sister, Candy (Eric) Elliott of Clarksville; and a half-sister, Lisa and Johnny Darow of Dickson.
Pallbearers for the service were Wesley Sharp, Eddie Newman, Wayne Wilborn, Tommy Smith, Todd Bilyeu and Will Evans.
