Norman Hughlan Sullivan, 80, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Community Care of Rutherford County.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Williamson County, son of the late Norman Allen and Mona Louella Stinson Sullivan, and made his home in Christiana. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He owned and operated Vine Street New and Used Furniture Store in Murfreesboro for 24 1/2 years and retired in 1999. He was a member of Apostolic Faith Church on Arno Road and was an Apostolic preacher. He was preceded in death by sisters Edith, Verla and Mary and brothers Cleve and Delma.
Survivors include wife Martha Jane Loyd Sullivan, of Christiana; son Ricky Sullivan and wife Karen, of Rockvale; grandchildren Joshua, Stephanie and Katelyn Sullivan; brothers Floyd, Dillon and Cletus Sullivan, all of Franklin, Russell Sullivan, of Nashville, and Vernon Sullivan, of Scottsville, Ky.; sisters Ruth Reeves, of Clarksville, and Pauline McNair, of Marvin, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.

Etha Bone O'Sail, 69, of Eagleville, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at her residence.
She was a native of Dickson and a daughter of the late Leamon Leonard and Edith Mai Smith Bone. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Lemuel Paul Stewart and second husband John W. O'Sail. Also preceding her in death was her twin sister: Rose Willoughby. She is survived by daughters Mrs. Paula Gail Shipes, of Smyrna, Mrs. Pamela Stewart Strebe, of Eagleville, and Mrs. Marie Stewart Seay, of Adams; brother Herbert Bone, of Tarentum, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker, caregiver and a member of the Rover Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Pearl Owens; three daughters; two sons; two sisters; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was a truck driver for 31 years for the H.G. Hills Grocery Stores

Lorene Holder Crowell, age 87 of Unionville, died Wednesday, June 23, 2004 in Shelbyville after an extended illness.
Mrs. Holder was a native of Marshall County and was a daughter of the late Oscar Lee and Jenny Phifer Holder.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Ed Crowell, who died in April 2003.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie Crowell and a son, Eddie Crowell, both of Unionville, and one grandson.
She was a member of Rays Chapel United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

Mary W. Taylor, 74, died on Friday, March 12, 2004 at The Residence, Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Rutherford County. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Wrather, and made her home in College Grove. She was preceded in death by sisters, Louise Whitworth and Sara Mize and first husband James Campbell.
She is survived by husband Robert M. Taylor of College Grove, daughter Bobbie Tackett and husband Chris of College Grove and grandchildren Mary Margaret Tackett and Rebecca MarDelia Tackett of College Grove.
She was a member of College Grove United Methodist Church and retired from Bellsouth.

A native of Williamson County, Mr. Adams was the son of the late Shelie and Martha Louise McNeese Adams. He was a logger.

Wrather; four daughters and sons-in-law: Janice and Billy Taylor, of Murfreesboro, Cindy and Tony Burns, of Rockvale, Deanna and Milan Eaton, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Melinda and Rick Patterson, of Murfreesboro; two brothers: James Davenport and Roy Davenport, both of Murfreesboro; three sisters: Anna Bell Jacobs, Flora Mae Lamb and Zelma Davis, all of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren.
She was a member of East Main Street Church of Christ.

Woodrow ‘Mutt’ Rooker, 87, of Eagleville died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, in Murfreesboro.
A native of Des Arc, Ark., Mr. Rooker was the son of the late Elmer D. and Ruth Alford Rooker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He was a member and deacon of the Eagleville Baptist Church and was retired from the Avco Corp. in Nashville after 29 years of service.
He also was preceded in death by his brothers, Darrell, Jeff, Jimmie, Bill and Fred Rooker.
Survivors include his wife, Lela Rooker of Eagleville; daughter Connie Rooker of Eagleville; sons and daughters-in-law Don and Janie Rooker of Eagleville and Ray and Debbie Rooker of Murfreesboro; sisters Ayleene Camp of Orlando, Fla., and Xemenia Martin of Lascassas; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law Donna and Jim Ralston of St. Augustine, Fla., and Brandi and David Goin of Woodbury; and great-grandchildren Ashton Jones, Bailey Goin and Cameron Goin.
Gordon E. Hicks, 64, of Rockvale, died Wednesday, October 20, 2004.
A native of Nashville, he was the son of the late George W. and Lillian Broyles Hicks.
He is survived by wife Anna Hicks; brother Granville (Patricia) Hicks, of Grosse Ile, Mich.; nephews Todd and Justin Hicks; faithful companion Heidi.
He was an insurance appraiser, a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and a veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a very loving husband, brother, uncle and big Teddy Bear to everyone and will be greatly missed.

Jeremy David Puckett Rowland, 24, of Eagleville, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004.
A native of Murfreesboro, Mr. Rowland was the son of Jason Frederick Grady Rowland and Ann Puckett Hartmann. He was an electrician with Eubanks Electric and a 1998 graduate of Hayden High School.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ann and Robert Hartmann of Eagleville; his father, Jason Frederick Grady Rowland of Murfreesboro; brothers Michael Rowland, Jason Rowland and Kaleb Rowland, all of Murfreesboro; sister Lisa Rowland of Murfreesboro; grandparents Clarence Puckett of Eagleville and Grady Rowland of Rockvale; aunts and uncles Mary and Bob Taylor, Bill Rowland and Ann Rowland, all of Murfreesboro; Betty and Doye Rowland of Eagleville and Brent and Patricia Rowland of Readyville; and several cousins.
