George Montagne Sabilino, Sr., age 84, of Chapel Hill, died Monday, October 4, 2010. Mr. Sabilino was born in Seattle, Washington and was a son of the late Daniel Bajo and Florence May Montagne Sabilino. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and later was a Merchant Marine. Mr. Sabilino was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, a life member of the American Legion and a charter member of Restaurant and Bartenders Union Local # 483, Monterey, California. He attended Bethlehem Baptist Church near Lewisburg. Mr. Sabilino was preceded in death by two sons, Marcus Montagne Sabilino and Daniel Montagne Sabilino.
Mr. Sabilino is survived by his wife, Anna M. Sabilino of Chapel Hill; two sons, George Montagne Sabilino, Jr. of Morgan Hill, CA, David Mario Sabilino of Seaside, CA; three daughters, Gineille M. Sabilino of Lewisburg, Judy Ann Hayes of Portland OR, Maria Durbin of Gresham, OR; brother, Rudy Rico of Kailua, HI; sister, Juanita Berndt of Forrest Grove, OR; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Cody Curtis, age 21, of Chapel Hill, died Saturday, September 25, 2010. Cody was a member of Forrest High School Class of 2007 and was employed as a chef with Vanderbilt University in Nashville. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margie Brandon.

Clarence William Puckett, 90, of Eagleville, passed away Friday, September 24, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mr. Puckett was born on June 14, 1920 in Rutherford County to the late Clarence Franklin Puckett and Edith McDonald Puckett. He was a member of New Hope Fellowship and was a Chemist for the State of Tennessee.
Mr. Puckett was preceded by his parents, wife, Lela Woodard Puckett, and grandson, Jeremy Rowland. Jean Ball, age 80, of Chapel Hill, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Columbia. Mrs. Ball was born in Williamson County and retired after 21 years as the owner and operator of Gina-Lynn Togs of Chapel Hill. After retirement, Mrs. Ball became a supervisor with Harvey’s Department Store and later retired from Peebles Department Stores. She was a long time member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Chapel Hill. Mrs. Ball was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Ball, her mother, Katherine Biggers Dean and her grandparents, Comer and Viola Dean.
Mrs. Ball is survived by two daughters, Kathy Ball (Ed) Pate, Cecilia, KY, Gina Ball (Stanley) Beech, Murfreesboro; four grandchildren, Jennie Ferguson, Mike Pate, Michelle Schaap, Melissa Dow; four great grandchildren, Peter and Katelynn Ferguson, Kiera Pate, Logan Wilhoite; cousins, Juanita Burnett, Van Dean and Marian Gallagher.

Gordon Crowley, age 79, of Eagleville, died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at his home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Crowley was born in Boliver and was a son of the late Thomas and Edna Hawkins Crowley. He retired in 1989 after 34 years of service as a pressman for the Nashville Tennessean and Banner.

Ronald “Ronnie” Cooper White, age 41 of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010. He was born June 27, 1969 in Bedford County to James E. and Nancy Brannon White of Unionville. He was a graduate of Community High School and the owner/operator of Special Touch Tint and Accessories. He was also involved as a coach in the Coach Pitch League and Junior Pro Basketball. He was a faithful member of Rover Baptist Church. A native of Bedford County Mrs. Tucker was a daughter of the late Robert and Maude Wade Sanders. She was a homemaker and was the widow of James Milton Tucker who died in 1993.
