"Preacher King" was ordained to the ministry in June 1952. During his life, he served as pastor of six Baptist Churches in Middle Tennessee. The Lord blessed him with many talents which he used to help provide for his family: carpenter, butcher, farmer, horseman, farrier and landscaper are only a few. He loved people, and because of that love, he would share anything he had with friend or stranger.
His first love was the Lord. He called himself an "everyday" preacher. Vance was eager to share his Savior, Jesus Christ, with everyone he met.
We will miss that little crooked smile, hugs, kisses and his voice saying. "Do you know how much I Love You?"
If you have a favorite memory of "Preacher King", please write it down and share it with our family for our memory book.
