Barbara Ann Ferguson, 70 of Rockvale, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was born in Nashville, TN to the late Hubert and Birtie Lyle. Mrs. Ferguson was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Pete, Hubert, LJ and Henry Lyle. She is survived by daughters, Tammy (Dale) Brady of Midland and Sheila (Billy) Young of Eagleville; sons, Jeff McPeak and Jerry Dewitt, both of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Rita Biggs of Nashville; sister in law, Nancy Lyle of Nashville.

Warren Bruce Ranton, age 55, of Rockvale died on Monday, December 25, 2007. Mr. Ranton was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and a former employee of Sword of the Lord publishers. He was preceded in death by a son, Nathaniel Eric Ranton; father, Fredrick Ranton; and twin siblings, Jewel and Pearl Ranton.
Survivors include his mother, Olive Ilene Lundell Ranton of Oregon; brother, Durwood (Sally) Ranton of Oregon; sister, Judith (George) Kopchak of Murfreesboro; beloved nieces and nephews, Letha, Ilene, Robert, Glenn and David Kopchak; as well as Kerianne Ford and Katie Wheeler.

Embree Franklin Blackwell, Sr., age 87, of the Allisona community of Williamson County, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. A native of Marshall County, Mr. Blackwell was the son of the late Charles Andrew and Ruby Harris Blackwell. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Class of 1938 of Forrest High School. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Blackwell and a sister, Lillian Stammer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jean Barnes Blackwell of the Allisona community of Williamson County; 4 sons, Embree Blackwell, Jr. of the Allisona community; Charles (Debbie) Blackwell of Chapel Hill; Jeff (Deb) Blackwell of the Holts Corner community; and Thomas Blackwell of Eagleville; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Lisa Ann Giles Ashworth, age 39, of Eagleville died Saturday, December 15, 2007 in Nashville. Mrs. Ashworth was a native of Williamson County and was a receptionist for a local doctor’s office. She was a graduate of Page High School Class of 1986 and was a member of the Peytonsville Baptist Church.

Robert "Rob" Anthony Jarrell, II, age 17, of Unionville died Sunday, December 9, 2007. A native of Bedford County Rob was the son of Robert Anthony and Jennifer Carlton Jarrell who survive. He as a member of Victory Baptist Church in Shelbyville, a senior at Community High School and a member of the Viking football team.

Eric Patterson, 32, of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, December 08, 2007 while in St. Augustine, Florida. Eric was a native and resident of Murfreesboro. He was a mechanic with General Mills and a member of the Church of Christ.
Eric is preceded in death by his grandfather, Leroy Sneed. He is survived by his wife, Kim Patterson; daughter, Maili Minneker; beloved dog, "Highway"; parents, Kenneth and Janis Patterson, all of Murfreesboro; sister, Tiffany Patterson of Christiana; grandparents, James and Ruth Sneed Carver of Murfreesboro; several nieces and nephews.

Dennis E. Thrasher, age 57 of Rockvale died Tuesday, December 4, 2007. Dennis worked for Tire Express for 11 years as Executive Sales Manager, and became a seasoned veteran of the commercial tire business. His co-workers and friends described Dennis as a man of great integrity.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Thrasher; and mother, Reville Thrasher.

Mary Elizabeth Bolden Bucy, age 79, of Eagleville died Monday, November 19, 2007, in Smyrna after an extended illness. A native of Rutherford County, Mrs. Bucy was a daughter of the late John Henry and Mattie Eliza Sanders Bolden. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest "Dogman" Pruitt, who died in 1998, and her later husband, Charles Murphy Bucy, who died in 2006.
She is survived by three daughters, Melissa Ferrel of La Vergne, Judy Jernigan of Murfreesboro and Rita Haskins of Eagleville; two sons, Bobby D. Pruitt of Murfreesboro and Billy C. Pruitt of Smyrna; two sisters, Dot Griffy of the Holts Corner community of Marshall County and Frances Justice of College Grove; three brothers, Thomas Bolden of Franklin, Edd Bolden of Murfreesboro and Earl Bolden of Eagleville; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Cora Belle Jones, age 82, of Nashville passed away Monday, November 19, 2007, at NHC. A native of Rutherford County, she lived in Nashville most of her life. She retired from National Life and Accident Insurance Company and was a member of Wingate Church of Christ.
