Joseph Sanzi
Death: June 7, 2013

Joseph “Patrick” Sanzi, age 34, of LaVergne, died Friday June 7, 2013.

Funeral service will be 10:00am Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.

Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Sanzi is survived by his mother, Donna Stem Sanzi of LaVergne; father, Joseph Sanzi of Murfreesboro; sons, Dale and Jackson Sanzi, both of Murfreesboro; sister, Bethany Sanzi of LaVergne; nieces, Janie Robbins, Addalyn Montgomery, both of LaVergne; grandparents, Wayne and Judy Stem of LaVergne; his uncle and aunt, Jason and Stephanie Stem of Manchester; aunt, Paige Norton of Smyrna, and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00pm Monday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.

William Cecil Prater, Jr.

Prater, Jr., William Cecil, age 61, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, September 29, 2007.

Memorial services Saturday 10 am Woodfin Memorial Chapel., Murfreesboro.

Visitation one hour prior to the service in the chapel.

He was a native of Rutherford County, and the son of the late William Cecil and Myrtle Anderson Prater, Sr.

He is survived by his wife: Tina Prater, sons: Phillip Anderson Prater and Kevin Todd Prater all of Murfreesboro.

Cecil was a self-employed Walking Horse Breeder.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blackman Blaze Baseball Boosters, P.O. Box 330743, Murfreesboro, TN 37133-0743, or charity of your choice.

Stanley Eugene Herrod

Stanley Eugene Herrod, 52, of Lascassas, passed away at his residence, Friday, March 4, 2005, after an extended illness.

A native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County, he was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in the Vietnam Era and was retired from Alvin C. York VA Medical Center as a physical therapy assistant technician.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erma and Ruby Dyer Herrod and a granddaughter, Daysia Lee Neal.

Mr. Herrod is survived by his wife, Regena Dodson Herrod of Lascassas; sons, David McNabb Herrod and Aaron Douglas Dodson; daughters, Katherine Neal, Naomi Brown and Morria Mullins; sister, Patricia Summers and seven grandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Trey Pennington officiating.

Burial will follow in Windrow Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be 4-8 p.m. today and Monday.

Shirley Ann Jensen

Shirley Ann Jensen, 51, of Bradyville, passed away March 2, 2005 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

A native of Detroit, Mich., she had lived in Tennessee for several years.

She was a servant of Christ, an awesome wife, a devoted mother and caring friend.

Shirley is the daughter of John and Beverly Hartman Thomas, the wife of Steve Jensen, mother to Jeff, Christopher, Isaiah, Joshua, Jonathan, Rebecca and Marybeth Jensen and sister to John and Robert (Bob) Thomas.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Family Worship Center, 1503 Sulphur Springs Road, with Pastor Brian Hughes officiating.

Alex Blake "Bubba" Smith
March 27, 1993 - June 8, 2013

Alex Blake "Bubba" Smith, age 20, of Lascassas, TN, passed way Saturday, June 8, 2013, while doing what he loved most in life, riding his motorcycle.

He was born in Murfreesboro, TN, on March 27, 1993.

Alex is survived by his mother, Judy Joyce Hamer of Lascassas, TN; father, Richard “Rick” Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Ashlie Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; half-brothers, Jay Smith of Dickson, TN, and Steve Smith of Alabama; half-sisters, Edie Smith of Alabama, and Brittanie Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; grandmother, Jimmie Joyce of Lascassas, TN; nephews, LaShaun and JaKori Smith; nieces, NaKyria and A’Coriana Smith all of Lascassas, TN.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Frank Lipetri officiating.

Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Alex was of the Baptist faith, and was an Industrial worker for Ameri Cold.

Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at WOODFIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL.

He resided in Smyrna, TN, and is survived by his daughters, Gloria Garrard, of Tullahoma, TN, Mary Bryant, of Nashville, and Deborah Wilkerson, of Tullahoma, TN; sons, Anthony Johnson and Frank Johnson, Jr., both of Tullahoma, TN, and Joe Johnson, of Nashville, TN; sister, Annie Malone, of Smyrna, TN, and brothers, Ben Johnson, of Murfreesboro, TN, and James Johnson, of Smyrna, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Ella Johnson and his daughter, Bernice Kendrick.
