Graveside services for James N. Lyons, 83, Murfreesboro, who died Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are set for 3 p.m. Saturday in Benevolent Cemetery with Dallas Green officiating.
He is survived by a daughter, Mollie Lyons of Oakland, Calif.; three sons, James Lyons Jr., David Lyons, both of Murfreesboro, and Ralph Lyons of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
The remains are at Scales & Sons Funeral Home.

Robert Martin Murphy
Services for Robert "Bob" Martin Murphy, 49, Clinton, who died Wednesday, Aug. 5, in Clinton of natural causes, are set for 3 p.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Gerald Noffsinger will officiate.
He is survived by a son, Mark Andrew Murphy of Norcross, Ga.; parents, Charles M. Murphy and Leona O. Murphy of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Pat Murphy of Murfreesboro, and Mike Murphy of Knoxville.
A former member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and a native of Rutherford County, he was a graduate of Central High School and MTSU.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be held after 1 p.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Services for Raymond Alexander, 67, Nashville, who died Monday, Aug. 3, at Baptist Hospital, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Hickory Grove Community Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Leggs will officiate.
He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Alexander, Dorothy Smith, Ellen Alexander, all of Murfreesboro; seven sons, Michael Alexander, James Alexander, Hubbard Alexander, Ricky Alexander, Raymond Alexander Jr., Jerry Alexander, Terry Alexander, all of Murfreesboro; five brothers, Henry Lee Alexander, Walter Alexander, Eugene Alexander, Burton Alexander, Melvin Alexander; and a sister, Lena Mae Swader of Murfreesboro.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Lebron Martin Bogle
Services for Lebron Martin Bogle, 85, Murfreesboro, who died Wednesday, Aug. 5, at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness, are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Woodbury Funeral Home chapel with burial in Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Herb Alsup will officiate.
His parents were the late Houston Fisher Bogle and Sarah Gertrude Bryson Bogle.
He is survived by a son, Franklin Bogle of Woodbury; his wife, Rebecca Cathelean Harris Bogle of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Lucy Cooper of Murfreesboro; two brothers Harry Bogle, Terry Bogle, both of Murfreesboro; a sister, Bonnie Leyhew of Woodbury; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A member of the Woodbury Church of Christ, he was a farmer.
Visitation will be held from 3-9 p.m. today and on Friday until service time at Woodbury Funeral Home.

He is survived by his mother, Gladys Smith of Nashville; three sisters, Emma Martin of Indianapolis, Ind., Annette Martin of Antioch, Gloria Dean Martin of Nashville; three brothers, Terry Lee Martin of Murfreesboro, Wiley Martin, and Daryl Martin, both of Nashville.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Esaleen Panter
Services for Esaleen Panter, 69, Louisville, Ky., who died Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Southwest Hospital in Louisville, are set for 11 a.m. Monday at Incarnation Catholic Church, Louisville, with burial in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery there.
Her parents were the late Benjamin Langley and Hazel Langley, and her husband was the late Edwin B. Panter.
She is survived by a son, Edwin B. Panter of Louisville; a daughter, Esaleen P. Durrett of Murfreesboro; a brother, Benjamin Langley; a sister, Catherine Webb of Bowling Green, Ky.; and three grandchildren.
She was a professional health care assistant.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-6 p.m. Sunday.

Grover Q. Mankin
Services for Grover Q. Mankin, 91, Ranger, Texas, who died Sunday, Aug. 2, at Western Manor Nursing Home in Ranger, were held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eastside Baptist Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Ranger.
His wife was the late Cleara Mankin and he was preceded in death by a son, Grover "Bud" Mankin Jr. of Bell Buckle.
He is survived by two sons, Doug Mankin of Ranger, John Mankin of Corpus Christi, Texas; two daughters, Emma Delfo of Victoria, Texas, Dorothy Rowland of Lascassas; a sister, Lorene Threet of Murfreesboro; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Born in Murfreesboro, he had worked as a farmer for 70 years.

Services for Lael Aubrey Hebden, Jr., of Nashville, who died Thursday, Aug. 6, were held Saturday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Nashville. Burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Hebden is survived by his wife, Muriel, of Nashville; two sons, Lael A. (Skip) Hebden III of Brentwood and James Hebden of Murfreesboro; and six grandchildren.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason, Shriner, and attended St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville was in charge of arrangements.

A native of Portland, Mr. Hunter was the son of the late William P. and Mary E. Hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hunter; a stepson, Nicholas Humphrey; and a stepdaughter, Tiffany Miller, both of Murfreesboro; and a sister, Joyce Hammonds of Portland.
