Hellon Marie Baggett
Services for Mrs. Hellon Marie Baggett, 72, of Bon Aqua, who died Thursday are scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Harpeth Hills Chapel, followed by burial at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, with Leonard Dean officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Clay A. Baggett; two sons, Roy Baggett of Murfreesboro and Glen Baggett of Franklin; a sister, Lura Roberts of Cedar City, Utah; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Baggett was a member of Fairview Church of Christ. Visitation with the family will be held today from 10 a.m. until service time at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100 in Nashville.

John Ellis
Mr. John Ellis, 42, of Murfreesboro, died Friday at the York VA Medical Center. Service arrangements are incomplete, and will be announced later by Scales & Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Ellis is survived by his mother, Mary Ellis.

Jackie G. Prater
Services for Jackie Glendon Prater, 51, of Peeler Road, Woodbury, who died Thursday, Aug. 20, at Columbia Stones River Hospital after an extended illness, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Woodbury Funeral Home chapel with burial in Midway Cemetery. Odell Powell will officiate.
His parents were the late Haskel L. Prater and Tina Bell Prater.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Spry Prater of Woodbury; four stepdaughters, Tana Lewis of Nashville, Christy Alexander, Jennifer Grizzle, Kristen Grizzle, all of Woodbury; three brothers, Dee Prater of McMinnville, David Prater, Buford Prater, all of Woodbury; three sisters, Rozetta Holt of McMinnville, Treva Warren of Woodbury, Reta Parton Barney of Murfreesboro; and four stepgrandchildren.
A member of Midway Church of Christ, he was a truck driver and U.S. Navy veteran with service in Vietnam.
Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. today and on Saturday until service time at Woodbury Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Bertha Johnson
Services for Mrs. Bertha Ruth Rucker Johnson, 72, of Nashville, who died Thursday, Aug. 20, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, are scheduled for 6 p.m. today at Westwood Baptist Church in Nashville, with the Rev. Moses Herring officiating.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, William Johnson of Nashville; two daughters, Diedre Hayes and Denise R. Johnson, both of Nashville; and two sisters, Annie Rucker Zachery of Murfreesboro and Jannie Rucker Winfrey of Memphis.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Murfreesboro and a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville.
Visitation with the family will be today from 5 to 6 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church in Nashville with service immediately following. Burial is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, Tenn.

Charlotte N.Campbell
Services for Charlotte Nicholson Campbell, 71, Sawyer Brown Road, Nashville, who died Saturday, Aug. 22, at Baptist Hospital, are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Kenny Cooper and Mike Shelton will officiate.
A native of Orlinda, her parents were the late Rev. A.M. Nicholson and Beatrice Dunbar Nicholson.
She is survived by three brothers, Mays Nicholson of Cleveland, Ohio, Dunbar Nicholson of Smyrna, Joe Nicholson of Springfield; and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Nicholson of Nashville.
A member of Bellevue Baptist Church, Nashville, and a graduate of Lebanon High School, she had attended Tennessee College for Women here, Cumberland University in Lebanon, and had a master's degree from UT-Knoxville and Ohio State University. She also had a business degree from Edison College in Ohio and was a retired teacher.
Memorials may be made to her church building fund or to Bruckner Nature Center, Troy, Ohio.
Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. today at Woodfin Chapel.

His father was the late John Robert Ellis Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ellis of Murfreesboro; four sisters, Ann Hicks, Taryn Ellis, Rene Ellis and Belinda Ellis, all of Murfreesboro; and a brother, Samuel Ellis of Fort Knox, Ky.
A graduate of Smyrna High School, he was with the U.S. Army from 1973-1976.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Williams Osborne of Olmstead; six sons, Ralph Osborne of Little Rock, Ark., Jimmy Osborne, Paul Osborne, both of Olmstead, David Osborne, Larry Osborne, both of Adairville, Kenneth Osborne of Keysburg, Ky.; four daughters, Una Lorell Nipp of Murfreesboro, Joann Vick of Ellettsvillle, Ind., Marsha Terrell of Olmstead, Bonnie Slush of Adairville; a brother, Richard Osborne of Olmstead; 34 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
A member of Forest Grove Baptist Church, he had served as a deacon for more than 15 years. He was a native of Robertson County, Tenn.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley O'Neal; his mother, Elizabeth Jaco of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Jessica O'Neal of Murfreesboro; a son, Johnny O'Neal Jr. of Ohio; seven sisters, Shelia Witty of Woodbury, Karen Duncan, Kathy Vangelder, Teresa Mangrum, Nada Faulkner, all of Murfreesboro, Jean Pfiefer of Ohio, Jackie McKay of Georgia; three brothers, Gary Duncan, Andrew Mangrum, and James Mangrum, all of Murfreesboro.

Graveside services for Ernest Bryant Rushing, 86, Franklin, who died at home Sunday, Aug. 23, after an extended illness, are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Garden of Fountain, in Nashville with nephew Joe Rushing officiating.
His parents were the late Clyde Rushing and Pauline Rushing.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Judy Rushing of Franklin.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Duncan Rushing of Franklin; a daughter, Priscilla Rushing of Franklin; a son, Duncan Bryant Rushing of DeLand, Fla.; a brother, Elvis Rushing of Murfreesboro; and two grandsons.
He was retired from Greyhound Corp.
Retired Greyhound employees will be honorary pallbearers.
