Jo "Minnie" Porterfield
Services for Mrs. Jo "Minnie" Porterfield, 75, Brookfield Drive, who died Monday, Sept. 7, at NHC Healthcare, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Jennings & Ayers chapel with burial in Hill family cemetery. The Rev. Mark Calvert-Rosenberger will officiate.
Her parents were the late Henry Austin Foster and Hassie Brady Foster.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Harrison Porterfield of Murfreesboro; two sons, Don Porterfield of Lascassas, Robert Porterfield of California; a brother, Franklin Foster of Woodbury; two sisters, Cepil Brandon of Woodbury, Hazel Hollandsworth of Woodbury; and one grandchild.
A native of Cannon County, she had lived here most of her life and was retired from General Electric Co. with 27 years service. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.

Services for Megan Nicole "Miss Megan" Smith, 5, Lexington, Ky., who died Sunday, Sept. 6, at her grandparent's home in La Vergne, are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with burial in Mapleview Cemetery. The Rev. Ronnie Pittenger will officiate.
She is survived by her parents, Chris and Rita Parker of Lexington; two sisters, Sarah Parker and Breanna Parker of La Vergne.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 tonight at Woodfin Chapel.

J.R. Randolph
Services for J.R. "Little J.R." Randolph, 18, Kari Drive, Smyrna, who died at home Sunday, Sept. 6, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with burial in Mapleview Cemetery. Dr. Tom Williams will officiate.
He is survived by his parents, Ron and Nancy Randolph of Smyrna; a sister, Autumn Randolph of Smyrna; and a brother, Cody Randolph of Smyrna.
A native of Oklahoma City, Okla., and a member of Nolensville Road Baptist Church, he was a student at Smyrna High School.
Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Elaine Blair Patty
Services for Mrs. Elaine Blair Patty, 78, Wentworth Court, who died Sunday, Sept. 6, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mimosa Cemetery, Lawrenceburg. The Rev. David Huffman and the Rev. Clifton Johnston will officiate.
A native of Lawrenceburg, her parents were the late Jess R. Blair and Edna Webb Blair.
She is survived by a son, Joseph M. Patty of Murfreesboro; three daughters, Malinda Newman of Murfreesboro, Susanne Maniscalco of Orangevale, Calif., Nancy Ryan of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and a member of the Minerva Harrell Sunday school class, she was a graduate of Lawrence County High School and MTSU with a B.S. degree in library science. She earned her masters degree in adult education at T.S.U., and had taught school in Lawrence and Rutherford counties. She retired in 1982 as an adult education teacher at Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute. She was a member of William Lytle Chapter of the D.A.R., and the Womans Club.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at her church or to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

George W. Jewell
Graveside services for George W. Jewell, 82, Smyrna, who died at home Sunday, Sept. 6, are set for 1 p.m. Thursday in Nashville National Cemetery, with the Tennessee National Guard conducting honors. Donna Stoneman will officiate.
A native of Cabin John, Md., his parents were the late George Washington Jewell and Mary Dilehay Hamilton Jewell.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna Wingfield of Smyrna; two stepsons, William E. Jewell, Stephen L. Jewell, both of Crofton, Md.; a sister, Virginia Hodkinson of Jacksonville, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Virginia J. Rucker
Services for Virginia Johnson Rucker, 95, Cookeville, who died Sunday, Sept. 6, at the NHC Healthcare of Cookeville, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Cookeville City Cemetery. The Rev. Woodward A. Adams Jr. will officiate.
Born in Murray, Ky., she moved here when she was 18 to attend MTSU. She managed Cherokee Furniture Manufacturing Co. in Cookeville and retired in 1984 after the plant burned. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and the Cookeville Country Club.
Her husband was Matt Rucker, who died in 1972, and her parents were the late Dr. Walter Gamble Johnson and Mary Belle Jacobs.
She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Martin Rucker Jr., and a daughter, Virginia Anne Erhard.
Survivors include a daughter, Lavenia Rucker Williams; a granddaughter, Lavenia Anne Wright; and a great-grandson, Matt Wright.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hooper Huddleston Funeral Home, Cookeville.

Glenn R. Kleinau Jr.
Memorial services for Glenn Reichert Kleinau Jr., 73, West Gum Road, who died Thursday, Sept. 3, of heart failure at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Belle Aire Baptist Church here with the Rev. Dean Sisk officiating.
A native of Chattanooga, his parents were the late Glenn and Thelma Williams Kleinau Sr., and his wife was the late Mary Taylor Kleinau. He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Alan Kleinau.
He is survived by his wife, Angie McFarlin Kleinau; two sons, Glenn "Rick" Reichert Kleinau III of Durham, N.C., Gary Lee Kleinau of New York, N.Y.; two daughters, Carrie Goodwin of Murfreesboro, Genie Carr of Hendersonville; and seven grandchildren.
A member of the Belle Aire Baptist Church, he was a graduate of University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, UT Law School in Knoxville, and he was involved in several businesses the past 50 years. He was founder and CEO of Special Kids (a Christian corporation giving nursing and rehab services for special needs children), founder of Blueberry Patch of Murfreesboro, co-founder of Venture Industries Inc. of Chattanooga, and former owner of Missionary Ridge Apartments of Chattanooga.

Visitation will be held after 1 p.m. Saturday at his church.

Willie L. Webb
Services for Mrs. Willie L. Webb, 89, Nashville, who died Friday, Sept. 4, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, are set for 2 p.m. Friday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Webb Cemetery, Kirkland. The Rev. James Turner will officiate.
She is survived by two nephews, Joe Webb of Nashville and the Rev. Elliott Webb of Arrington; and one niece, Donzetta Webb of Nashville.
The body will lie in state from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday with visitation from 1-2 p.m. at the church.

Vaughn C. Williamson
Services for Vaughn C. Williamson, 87, Nashville, formerly of Smyrna, who died at home Monday, Sept. 7, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with burial in Mapleview Cemetery. The Rev. Marion Arbuckle will officiate.
A native of Porterfield, Calif., his parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. C.I. Williamson.
He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Williamson; a daughter, Barbara Evon Williamson of Smyrna; a son, Ammon I. Williamson of Smyrna; a stepson, Robert Blaylock of Nashville; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was first married to the late Julia Williamson.
A member of the Methodist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was a retired employee of Cummings Sign Co. He was also a member and past master of Masonic Lodge #72, American Legion Post 82 having served on executive board, Moose Lodge, and past member of the VFW and Elks Lodge.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 tonight at Woodfin Chapel.
